Savannah Guthrie 'Desperately' Pleads Help To Reunite With Mom After She Went Missing 7 Weeks Ago

The Guthrie family's hope has not died to reunite with Nancy Guthrie. And no matter how much time has passed, they believe that they will get their missing mom home.

Savannah Guthrie and her entire family's hope has not yet died to meet Nancy Guthrie. It's been more than 7 weeks since the family was last in contact with Nancy before she mysteriously went missing. Soon, investigations confirmed that she was forcefully abducted from her home. Now, the family released a new statement pleading with the people of Tucson to help them reunite with Nancy amid the ongoing search.

Savannah Guthrie and her family share another statement after their mother's abduction

The 54-year-old Today co-host, Savannah Guthrie and her siblings, Annie Guthrie and Camron Guthrie, shared a statement during the KVOA News 4 Tucson special, Bring Her Home: The Disappearance Of Nancy Guthrie. It was aired on March 21, 2026. The statement started with them expressing gratitude for the outpouring from neighbours, friends and people of Tuscan. They acknowledged their efforts and how they are all one big family.

They added that it is the pople southern Arizona community that might help find the resolution in their missing mother's case. They added that someone knows something. They requested people to recall the timelines of January 31, 2026, and the early morning hours of February 1, 2026, as well. the late evening of January 11, 2026. The statement can be read as:

"We are deeply grateful for the outpouring from neighbors, friends and the people of Tucson. We are all family now. We continue to believe it is Tucsonans, and the greater southern Arizona community, that hold the key to finding resolution in this case. Someone knows something. It’s possible a member of this community has information that they do not even realize is significant. We hope people search their memories, especially around the key timelines of January 31 and the early morning hours of February 1, as well as the late evening of January 11."

The Savannah family urged people to give their attention to their missing mother's investigation. They asked them to help them by checking their camera footage, journal notes, text messages, observations that might hold significance in the case. They wrote:

"We desperately ask this community for renewed attention to our mom’s case — please consult camera footage, journal notes, text messages, observations or conversations that in retrospect may hold significance. No detail is too small. It may be the key."

In the statement, Guthries further pleaded for the safe return of their home. They shared that they are missing their mother and they cannot be at peace till she is back with them. She added that they cannot even grieve, their heart only ache, and they wonder what might have gone wrong on that day. It was signed by as 'The Guthrie family' and had special mention of Camron and Kristine, Annie and Tommaso, and Savannah and Michael. The statement read:

"We miss our mom with every breath and we cannot be in peace until she is home. We cannot grieve; we can only ache and wonder. Our focus is solely on finding her and bringing her home. We want to celebrate her beautiful and courageous life. But we cannot do that until she is brought to a final place of rest. Thank you for continuing to pray without ceasing."

The statement came as the investigation for Nancy entered its seventh week, with no luck in getting her back. The 84-year-old author was last seen on January 31, 2026, after her elder daughter dropped her home in Tucson. However, suspicion was raised when she missed a church service the next day, after which a search was launched to find her.

Investigators were sure that Nancy was kidnapped in the night, as the surveillance footage had a masked man at her front door. Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos shared that the investigators know the motive behind the kidnapping, and they believe it was a targeted one. They had that since day one; they had strong beliefs about what might have gone wrong, and those beliefs have not diminished so far.
