Taking to his Instagram handle, Sanju Samson penned a heartfelt note for his wife, Charulatha Remesh, on March 9, 2026. In the note, Sanju thanked his wife for staying by his side, for loving him. India opener mentioned that his wife, Charulatha, stood strong by his side even after seeing his worst side. Sanju added that like him, his wife also dreamed with the same passion. His note can be read as:
"Right from the day I met you, till this day of my life…!! Thank you so very much for being by my side, loving me for who I am and being absolutely true and honest to me, no matter what I was to the outside world. Seeing my best side, seeing my worst side, you have seen it all and still stood strong by me..!! Thank you for understanding how big cricket is in my life and making it the same for you.. And you have wished and dreamed with the same passion and intensity as I did for this moment. Thank you so very much, my dear Pondattiiiiii."
Soon after Team India won the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026, Charulatha Remesh took to her Instagram handle and congratulated him for his historic run in the 2026 T20 World Cup Final. Sharing a wholesome picture, Charulatha penned a short yet heartfelt note for her husband. In the snap, Sanju was seen wearing his Indian cricket team uniform, and his wife, Charulatha, looked stunning in a long-sleeved black dress which had small white polka dots. In the note, she called her husband, 'her trophy'. Beaming with pride, Charulatha wrote:
"My trophy holding his trophy. Just too grateful."
Charulatha Remesh, who is widely known as Sanju Samson’s wife, was reportedly born on October 19, 1995, in Thiruvananthapuram. As per reports, Charulatha completed her schooling from Arya Central School and later attended Mar Ivanios College to pursue her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. She also joined Loyola College of Social Sciences and completed postgraduate studies in Human Resources.
As per reports, Charulatha’s father, B. Ramesh Kumar, is Mathrubhumi’s chief news editor and her mother, Rajshri Ramesh, works as a government employee in LIC India. Reports claim that she also has a sister. By profession, Charulatha is reportedly an entrepreneur. She allegedly has a net worth of about Rs. 50-60 lakhs.
Sanju and his now-wife, Charulatha, first met during their college days at Mar Ivanios College in Thiruvananthapuram. At the time, India opener was establishing his foothold in domestic cricket, while his wife, Charulatha, focused on her studies. The couple’s love story began when Sanju sent his ladylove, Charulatha, a Facebook friend request. Slowly and steadily, the duo’s online conversations turned into a relationship. Despite the ace cricketer’s immense popularity, they kept their relationship away from the limelight. The couple tied the knot on 22 December 2018 in Kovalam.
