Sanjay Khan's Daughter Rubbishes Assault Rumours On Zeenat Aman, 'Father Hasn't Raised His Hand...'

In a recent interaction, Sanjay Khan's daughter, Farah Khan Ali, dismissed reports that her father had thrashed actress, Zeenat Aman.

Bollywood actor Sanjay Khan and the stunning Zeenat Aman were once madly in love with each other. Sanjay was one of the most good-looking men in Bollywood, and Zeenat was hailed as the sexy siren of Hindi cinema, making many hearts flutter. So when they met for the first time, sparks flew, and the duo got into an affair. However, Sanjay was already married to Zarine Khan at that time.

Sanjay met Zeenat on the sets of their film, Abdulla, in 1980 while he was already married to Zarine. However, Sanjay couldn’t resist Zeenat’s charm and soon love blossomed between them. When Sanjay had an affair with Zeenat, Zarine was expecting their fourth baby, Zayed Khan.

Now, in an interaction with Vickey Lalwani on his YouTube channel, Sanjay’s daughter Farah Khan Ali admitted that her dad indeed had an affair with Zeenat, got married to her and later divorced the actress. Speaking about the same, she shared:

“Yes, he had at that point (married her). There was a Muslim way of getting married, and he divorced her the Muslim way as well.”

Not just this, in the same interaction, Farah revealed that when her father had an affair with Zeenat, her mother, Zarine, didn’t blame the actress as her father, Sanjay, was equally responsible. Farah stated that her father’s affair with Zeenat almost broke her parents’ marriage. Speaking about the same, Farah said:

“There was an attraction on both sides; maybe there was something wrong with their marriage at that point that it happened, or maybe it just happened.”

Zeenat and Sanjay got married in 1978, but their marriage came crashing down when Sanjay annulled it in 1979. However, there was one incident that is still discussed whenever Sanjay and Zeenat’s relationship is discussed. According to reports, Zeenat Aman was filming in Lonavala, and since she was part of the film Abdullah, directed by Sanjay, he wanted her to return to Bombay to complete the shooting.

But when Zeenat reached the Hotel Taj to speak to her husband regarding her dates, an unwanted incident happened. As soon as Sanjay found out that Zeenat had entered the hotel to meet him in the presence of his wife, Zarine Katrak, the director lost it all and thrashed her inside the hotel room. It was reported that during the beating, one of her eyes was damaged permanently.

But contrary to all the reports that have been doing the rounds for so many years, Sanjay’s daughter, Farah, vehemently justified her father and rubbished the reports of him hitting Zeenat. Elaborating on the same, Farah shared:

“That's all hogwash because my father hasn't raised his hand on my mother or any of his daughters. He is not a violent man to raise a finger on a woman. And what I know of, is that mother told me that Miss Aman's mother suffered from an eye disease. Her eye was also smaller. So, it was something genetic which happened to Miss Aman and not what was written. So, this nonsense about a part where my father beat her is bulls**t.”
