Bengali actor, Rahul Arunoday Banarjee's tragic passing left everyone in utter shock. The entire industry is mourning his death. It was revealed that the actor was shooting in Talsari, Digha, when he was hit by a wave and fell into the sea.
While he was instantly admitted to a hospital and responded twice while being on the way to Kathi Hospital, he was pronounced dead upon his arrival. In the glimpses, his co-star, Sweta Mishra, was seen in an unbelievable state, and the same state is being navigated by the actor's close ones. Now, Sandipta Sen, Rahul's close friend and alleged ex-girlfriend, reacted to his shocking passing.
Rahul Arunoday Banarjee and Sandipta Sen's dating speculations began a year after his separation from his wife, Priyanka Sarkar. Rahul was like an open book when it came to his personal life, and he never really hid anything, for that matter. Speculations were up that Rahul had been dating Sandipta.

Sandipta revealed that she is in utter shock and disturbed right now. She further added that Rahul was a talented actor, a brilliant writer, and someone who is really educated, and thus, his passing isn't a personal loss, but it's a loss of the entire industry. She further mentioned that Rahul had a lot to give to the industry, and she is not able to believe what just happened while giving a shot.
To mention, director Subhasish Mondal said that Rahul and Sweta Mishra were shooting for a honeymoon scene, and the actor insisted on doing an unscripted drone scene. While they were shooting in knee-deep water, Sweta was hit by a wave, and she instantly left the sea, while Rahul wanted to go deep into the sea for a second scene, not listening to anyone who was asking him not to do so. As per Subhasish, when he was giving a shot, he was hit by a wave, slipped and swallowed water. While the entire team jumped to save him and took him to the hospital, he couldn't be saved.
