The actress-turned-YouTuber often shares glimpses of her little one on her YouTube channel, but she has not yet revealed the faces or real names of her twins. Recently, she and her husband receieved major backlash for holding their kids without neck support.
Sambhavna is a first-time mother, but she has been a pet parent, and more or less, she got experience of the joys of motherhood with her furries. However, in one of her recent vlogs, fans disliked the way she and her husband, Avinash, held their twin babies together without putting any head support.
In the latest vlog titled 'Mummy ne beti ka future abhi se plan kar liya', Sambhavna and Avinash showed a chapter of their everyday life with their kids. However, during one instance, Sambhavna showed how Avinash held both the children together, and then she took the kids from him and put them together over her shoulder with no support. This left fans extremely concerned as the kids are not even one month old.
One user, who claimed to be a doctor, advised, "I am a doctor sambhavna plz hold the children properly. Don't carry like this. Give support to their neck at least 5-6 months." A second one penned, "What is this stunt for? Holding two babies together! Please, take care while holding the baby; especially their neck and head should not shake."
Another was shocked as the way Avinash and Sambhavna held the kids like rag dolls, and pointed, "Avinash Bhai, OMG! I am thoroughly shocked. Please... you were holding the babies like rag dolls. They are your babies. Please hold one at a time, over the shoulder. Their head should be positioned near the curve of your neck. Please support their necks with one hand. Just look at the image yourself once. You will understand what we are all saying. It looks sad and pathetic. The baby's head is completely over your shoulder with no support."
A fourth one advised the new parents to hold one child at a time, "Avinash jab aapne dono babies ko carry kara hai wo galat hai aap ek baby ko ek time pe pakdo lekin unke neck ke neeche hath rakho. Neck sambhalna abhi zaruri hai." Another said, "It looks very dangerous... Be careful with the baby's neck; warna kuch ho gaya toh zindagi barbad ho jayega... Don't want to sound negative, but it's true..I have seen a case."
Most of the comments on Sambhavna's vlogs was from her fans who have been constantly following her journey, and it came out of a place of concern and not to troll her or judge her.
As per experts, newborn babies have two soft spots on their heads; one is the posterior fontanel in the back, and the other is the anterior fontanel on top. The bones in these areas of the skull are not completely fused together. As no bones are fully protecting the brain early in their life, it is advised to put your hand on your newborn's head till three to six months.
