The journalist also mentioned that the veteran screenwriter is in the ICU and that his vital signs appear stable. However, according to a News 18 report, Salim Khan's health condition is serious. A senior doctor at Lilavati Hospital, who remained anonymous, said he is in the ICU and asked the media to contact his family representative. Efforts to contact Salim Khan's family representatives to obtain a formal statement have been ongoing.

This was after paparazzi spotted Salman Khan entering and exiting the Lilavati Hospital premises, which soon surfaced on social media.
