Saif Ali Khan Reveals Why He Won't Get Kisses From Kareena Kapoor Khan And Taimur Ali Khan

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s one-and-a-half-year-old-munchkin, Taimur Ali Khan is cameraman’s delight. Wherever he goes, paparazzi follow. Ever since his birth (or in fact, even before that), Kareena and Saif’s offspring took the internet by the storm. Taimur Ali Khan has undoubtedly surpassed the fame of his star parents, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan. Saif, who is riding high on success with highly acclaimed performance in the Netflix India original web series, Sacred Games. Saif plays the role of a cop, Sartaj Singh and sported a beard look in the series. And this became the reason why Kareena and Taimur won’t kiss him. Yes, you read it right!

In an interview with Rajeev Masand, Saif was asked if Bebo liked his beard look. To which, he replied, “She says she likes it and Taimur pulls it very hard but neither of them has kissed me a lot of late. If I ask Taimur to kiss my hand, he will do so. If I ask him to kiss my face, he just tilts his head on my cheek. The same scenario happens with the missus as well.” Well, he also shared that this scenario won’t change for a while, given that his next character Naga sadhu bounty hunter in Navdeep Singh’s film also sports a beard.

Saif Ali Khan further added, “I have this for six months and I will sport it till end of August. Saif retorted, “They all require maintainance at different times and that’s the joy of it. And if you maintain well, then you have a strange sense of satisfaction.” In a throwback interview with the DNA, Saif revealed that Taimur has started talking and they are enjoying this phase with him. Saif was quoted as saying, “He has learnt a few new words. He calls me ‘abba’ and has now started to say ‘baby’ and ‘gum’. Whenever he sees a chewing gum, he would just scream ‘gum’. He likes to watch the moon, so I sit with him in my office and show him the moon.”

Saif and Kareena have time and again expressed their concern on the constant media badgering on Taimur. Bebo, once shared in an interview, “I don’t like that at all, neither does Saif. As parents we are scared. I’d want my son to grow up as normally as possible. Saif’s even more particular about this. He wants Taimur to grow up, away from the eye of the paparazzi and the film scenario. Because Saif himself didn’t grow up in a film atmosphere, although his mother was an actress. His father (the late Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi) as we know, belonged to the cricketing world. But in today’s time it’s tough.
