When Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan had welcomed their first child in December 2016, media and fans were delighted to get the first glimpse of their newborn, Taimur Ali Khan. Saif and Kareena had posed for the paparazzi at the balcony of their residence at Fortune Heights, holding their bundle of joy, Taimur. And while fans and media expected something similar when Saif and Kareena became parents for the second time, the couple had different plans!
It was on February 21, 2021, when Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan became parents for the second time. Everyone waited with bated breath for the glimpse of Taimur Ali Khan's baby brother but this time, Saif and Kareena decided to keep their baby away from the limelight. So much so that the couple didn't even announce the name of their newborn son. However, Kareena did give a few glimpses of the little one, but with his face hidden.

A few days after the birth of Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan's second child, the elated nanu, Randhir Kapoor had revealed that the couple had not yet named their newborn. Finally, after the wait of four-and-a-half months, the reports reveal the name of Saif and Kareena's second child. A report by BT suggests that Saif and Kareena have named their son, Jeh. The royal couple had also considered the name of Saif's father, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi along with several other names. When BT reached out to Saif for a comment, he didn't respond.
Sometime back, veteran actor, Randhir Kapoor had mistakenly posted a picture collage of his newborn grandson, only to delete it later. While Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan have decided to keep their second-born away from the limelight, Randhir's post came as a delight to Kapoor-Pataudi fans. Though Randhir Kapoor had deleted his 'accidental' post in no time, the netizens and media were quick enough to grab a screenshot of the same. But it is still not confirmed that the picture collage was of Kareena and Saif's newborn child.

When Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan had announced the name of their firstborn as Taimur Ali Khan, a controversy had erupted. Speaking about the same, Kareena was quoted as saying at India Today Conclave, "There was a lot of trolling, but there was also an immense amount of support. Not that the trolls mattered, because the night before I was going to the hospital, Saif asked me, 'If it's a boy, are you sure you want to do this? Let's change the name and call him Faiz. It's more poetic and romantic.' And I was like, no. If it's a boy, I want my son to be a fighter. Taimur means iron and I will produce Iron Man. I am proud to name him Taimur."
Amid the reports of Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan's second child's name, a picture of the actress with her firstborn, Taimur Ali Khan is going viral on social media. As Taimur is snuggled in his blanket, looking cute as a button, Kareena posed happily for the selfie with her little bundle of joy.
