Suhani Si Ek Ladki fame Sahil Mehta is one of the hotties from the small screen who made many girls fall for him instantly. Soon, he shattered the hearts of all those girls by taking the plunge with his girlfriend Eesha Danait, who is an assistant director.

After dating each other for almost two years, the lovebirds decided to take their relationship a step ahead by tying the knot on May 1, 2016. Their wedding was a lavish Maharashtrian-style wedding in the presence of all their near and dear ones.

Ever since the duo tied the knot, they couldn’t make it to their honeymoon. Yes, it’s been more than a year that the couple didn’t go on their honeymoon. The reason behind such long delay is Sahil’s professional commitments as he was busy shooting for Suhani Si Ek Ladki.

Nonetheless, as the actor has now quit the show, Sahil and Eesha are now enjoying their long-due (like literally) honeymoon in Europe. Talking to a leading entertainment portal, Sahil was quoted as saying:

"I have been part of Suhani... for the past three years. It has given me a lot, but I needed this break. I had promised my wife (Eesha Danait) a honeymoon in Europe, and it's finally happening."

The couple will apparently be back in town this month (June) itself, and it seems that he won’t be resuming his acting career. In an interview, he was found saying:

"I want to try sport anchoring. That has been a long-standing wish.”

He further added:

"I am a thorough professional, but I think I am not a very good actor. I am always on time and throw no tantrums, but I am not the best at my craft. Anybody could have played my character. TV is delusional. It's not the face, but the character that matters on this medium. Had the case been reverse, every TV actor would have been a big movie star."
