According to a report by News18, Arjun Tendulkar was born on September 24, 1999, and is currently 25. On the other hand, Arjun’s fiancee, Saaniya Chandhok, was born on June 23, 1998, and is currently 26. If the report is believed to be true, then the to-be-bride, Saaniya, is one year older than Arjun.
The buzz surrounding Arjun’s wedding has been making headlines for some time now. However, the Tendulkar family remained tight-lipped about the following. It was cricket star, Sachin Tendulkar, who confirmed his son, Arjun’s, wedding to Saaniya. Taking to his Instagram handle, Sachin shared several posts on February 10, 2026. In one of the posts, Sachin, along with his family, including the soon-to-be-married couple, Arjun and Saaniya, posed with the honourable Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. For the day, Sachin wore a navy blue kurta with ivory-hued pyjama, Arjun looked dapper by donning an ivory-hued kurta and white pyjama, and Saaniya looked beautiful in a pink salwar suit. Seeking the PM’s blessings, Sachin wrote:
"We were honoured to invite Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji to Arjun and Saaniya’s wedding. Thank you, Modi ji, for your blessings and thoughtful advice for the young couple."
On the same day, Sachin also shared the post where he was seen inviting the Honourable President, Droupadi Murmu, to his son, Arjun’s wedding. Sharing a snap featuring him and his family along with the President, Sachin penned a heartfelt note. He recalled how the honourable President hosted them at Rashtrapati Bhavan. The note shared by the cricket legend can be read as:
"Last February, Hon’ble President Smt. Droupadi Murmu ji graciously hosted us at Rashtrapati Bhavan. We relived some of those cherished memories when we met the President today to invite her to Arjun and Saaniya’s wedding. Thank you for your warm wishes, Hon’ble President."
A few days ago, Arjun and Saaniya’s pre-wedding festivities began with a grand puja ceremony at Jamnagar, Gujarat. It is worth mentioning that it was the same place where two years ago, Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant tied the knot. The ceremony was hosted by the Ambani family, including Mukesh Ambani, Nita Ambani, Akash Ambani, Shloka Mehta, Anant Ambani, and Radhika Merchant.
While the celebration grabbed a lot of attention, it was Sachin’s heartfelt speech for the soon-to-be-married couple, Arjun Tendulkar and Saaniya Chandhok, that stole the spotlight. Sachin got emotional and shared that when his son introduced his girlfriend to the family, he and Anjali understood that their little son had grown up. He highlighted that the duo is madly in love with each other. He was quoted as saying:
"Jab beta kisi ladki ko ghar leke aata hai, introduce karne ke liye, then you know that beta bada ho gaya hai. They look madly in love with each other. Arjun, I have to say, I'm extremely proud of you for having found someone so special, you know, who loves you as much as you love her."
