Sachin Tendulkar, the cricket legend, is hogging the limelight for all things personal. There has been a huge buzz surrounding Sachin’s son, Arjun Tendulkar’s marriage for some time now. Multiple reports claimed that Arjun is all set to tie the knot soon. Yes, you read it right. A few months back, reports claimed that Arjun had proposed to his ladylove, Saaniya Chandok, and she said 'yes'. Now, a while ago, Sachin himself confirmed the wedding of his son, Arjun, to business tycoon, Ravi Ghai's granddaughter, Saaniya Chandok.
On February 10, 2026, the cricket legend took to his Instagram handle and shared multiple posts to confirm his son, Arjun’s wedding to Saaniya Chandok. In one post, Sachin and his family, along with the to-be-married couple, Arjun and Saaniya, posed with Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. In the snap, Sachin was seen wearing a navy blue kurta and paired it with ivory-hued pyjama, Arjun looked handsome in an ivory-hued kurta and white pyjama, and Saaniya looked beautiful in a pink salwar suit. Inviting Narendra Modi to the wedding, Sachin wrote:
"We were honoured to invite Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji to Arjun and Saaniya’s wedding. Thank you, Modi ji, for your blessings and thoughtful advice for the young couple."
Sachin also invited President, Droupadi Murmu and Home Minister, Amit Shah to Arjun-Saaniya’s wedding. Sharing snaps with the honourable President, Sachin wrote, "Last February, Hon’ble President Smt. Droupadi Murmu ji graciously hosted us at Rashtrapati Bhavan. We relived some of those cherished memories when we met the President today to invite her to Arjun and Saaniya’s wedding. Thank you for your warm wishes, Hon’ble President." He also shared snaps with Amit Shah and penned, "We cordially invited Hon’ble Home Minister Shri @amitshahofficial ji to Arjun and Saaniya’s wedding. Thank you for the warmth extended to our family. We deeply appreciate your kind wishes."
Sachin Tendulkar, who confirmed his son’s wedding a while ago and shared a glimpse of the guest list, has not yet revealed the wedding date. He has also invited Indian politician, Rahul Gandhi to the event. A few days back, some sources revealed to TOI that the wedding preparations are going on in full swing in the Tendukar family. According to the sources, the wedding festivities will begin on March 3, 2026, and the main event might take place on March 5, 2026. The wedding will reportedly take place in Mumbai. Just like the couple’s engagement ceremony in August 2025, the wedding will reportedly be an intimate affair.
Sachin Tendulkar’s daughter-in-law, Saaniya Chandok, hails from a high-profile business family. She is the granddaughter of Mumbai's famous businessman, Ravi Ghai. According to her Instagram bio, she is the owner of a luxury pet spa, Mr. Paws. She completed her education in business management from the London School of Economics, and then she came back to India and started her business.
Arjun Tendulkar followed the footsteps of his father, Sachin. He started his journey in cricket with the Mumbai junior team and made his U-19 India debut. Following this, he also made his T-20 debut. Later, in 2022, he made his Ranji Trophy debut and grabbed a lot of attention when he scored a century. In 2023, he made his IPL debut for the Mumbai Indians (MI) against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). In the history of IPL, Sachin and Arjun became the father-son duo to feature on the same side.
