Famous television actress, Rupali Ganguly opened up about her semi-adopted daughter on Farah Khan's YouTube show.
Famous television actress, Rupali Ganguly, who has been happily married to Ashwin K Verma for so many years, talked about having a semi-adopted daughter. For the unversed, Rupali Ganguly always kept her personal life private and didn't share many details about it in the media. The gorgeous actress, who is already a mother of a boy, revealed that she has semi-adopted her nanny's daughter.
Recently, Rupali Ganguly appeared on Farah Khan's YouTube Channel as a guest. She was at her mother's place, where she arrived with her semi-adopted daughter. For the unversed, it is the first time Rupali talked about her adopted daughter, whom she has adopted from her son's nanny. Rupali revealed that she is the legal guardian of her daughter and providing her with all the care and love. She shared the information with Farah Khan on her YouTube channel. Talking about her adopted daughter, Rupali stated that she is the one who has adopted her and stated that her mother, Anita has been with Rudransh since he turned on and she got married right before her eyes. She said:
"Indeed, she is somewhat adopted by me. Anita, her mother, has been with my son Rudransh since he turned one. She actually married right before my eyes, having truly been raised in my home."
Rupali Ganguly revealed that her daughter came into the world right before her eyes. She shared that she was the first person to hold her in her arms, and had literally fled from a shoot when she found out about her mother being in labour. Rupali further stated that her daughter seems to be like her, and she serves as her legal guardian. She said:
"This tiny baby came into the world right before my eyes; I was actually the first person to hold her. I truly fled from a shoot because her mom was in childbirth. I sense that she is like my own. I serve as her legal guardian, and she feels like my daughter in every aspect."
Rupali Ganguly loves her role as 'Anupama' in India's top TRP-rated show, Anupamaa. While she has gained a lot of love on the professional front, she often misses spending time with her son and enjoying his growing-up years. Once, Rupali attended an Iftaar party and looked visibly emotional while talking about her son.
Rupali revealed that she misses her son, Rudransh. However, the actress credited her husband, Ashwin K Verma, who cares for him better than she does. However, she misses Rudransh calling her husband for small things he wants and not for her. Recalling the moment, Rupali said:
"Main Rudransh ko bohot miss karti hoon. Wo toh Mata Rani ki kripa hain ki mere pati itne ache hain ki wo mujhse bhi achi maa hain. Rudransh ko shayad kabhi mehsoos nahi hoti, toh mujhe uss baat ka bohot khrab lagta hain ki usey kabhi bhi kuch chahiye hota hain toh… main agar saamne baithi hoon toh he goes to my husband for things like a glass of milk."
Rupali also talked about how she has missed out on a lot of time, but this happens when one parent is working, and another has to take care of the family. She stated that she didn't realise when her son grew up.
