While Rohit rules on the field, Ritika plays an important role in shaping his empire off-field. It’s been a decade since the couple got married at Mumbai’s Taj Lands End. For the unversed, Ritika has handled multi-crore brand deals for famous cricketers, including Virat Kohli. The duo shares two children, Samaira and Ahaan. According to a report by SquareYards, Rohit Sharma’s wife, Ritika Sajdeh, bought a new apartment in Mumbai for Rs. 26.30 crore. The apartment is located in Ahuja Towers, Prabhadevi locality in Mumbai. The apartment has a carpet area of 2,760.40 sq ft and contains three parking lots. According to the documents, Ritika paid a duty payment of Rs. 1.31 crore and a whopping registration charge of Rs. 30,000, and these transactions were done on December 12, 2025. The new apartment was bought from Ajinkya DY Patil and Puja Anjinkya Patil.
While the world might know Ritika Sajdeh as 'Mrs. Sharma', the beloved wife of famous Indian international cricketer, Rohit Sharma, Ritika has her own world. According to a report by Starsunfolded, Ritika was born on December 21, 1987. She has worked as a sports manager with Cornerstone Sport and Entertainment and handled brand endorsements of various famous personalities, including Virat Kohli. The company, Cornerstone Sport, was founded by Ritika’s cousin, Bunty Sajdeh, and he was a close friend of the phenomenal cricketer, Virat Kohli.
In 2010, Ritika first connected with Virat and handled his representation in the IPL. However, in 2013, the duo’s professional relationship turned personal, when fans linked the two. But both Virat and Ritika had shut down the rumours and addressed each other as good friends. Ritika plays a key role in her husband, Rohit’s commitments, including deals and collaborations. Ritika holds a strong grip in the field of brand building.
Rohit and Ritika first met during an advertisement shoot. Slowly and steadily, love blossomed between the two. The couple dated for six years, and it was Rohit who took the next step in their relationship and popped the question to his ladylove, Ritika. However, their proposal was all things adorable. Rohit proposed to Ritika at the same place from where he began his journey as a cricketer.
For the unversed, Rohit was just 11 when he first played at the Borivali Sports Club and began his cricket career. The cricket legend went down on his knees and proposed to his ladylove with a solitaire ring. The proposal came as a surprise to Ritika, and thus, she was stunned before accepting Rohit. On June 3, 2015, the couple got engaged, and later Rohit hosted an engagement party at the Borivali Sports Complex.
Earlier, in a 2025 podcast, Who’s the Boss, hosted by Harbhajan Singh and his wife, Geeta Basra, Rohit shared an untold story about his dreamy proposal to his then girlfriend and now wife, Ritika Sajdeh. For the uninitiated, the couple got married on December 13, 2015. Recalling the day when he popped the question to his ladylove, Ritika, Rohit said:
"I asked her to come with me to get ice cream. We left and kept going until we had crossed Marine Drive se, Haji Ali, Bandra and Dadar and a bunch of other places. She kept asking me where this ice cream place is, and I assured her it’s a great place close to where I live. When we reached the ground, it was dark. I had already told my friend to set up something on the ground and be there to capture the moment. Then I went on my knees in the middle of the pitch and then I proposed to her."
