The NCB filed draft charges against actress, Rhea Chakraborty and others in connection with drugs linked to Sushant Singh Rajput's death.
Actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death on June 14, 2020, had come as the biggest shock for his fans. However, it had also opened the ugly side of Bollywood’s drug nexus. The names of many top A-lister celebrities had hit the headlines for their alleged involvement with drugs. And his ex-girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty’s name too cropped up.
Rhea was arrested by the NCB under the charges of procurement and consumption of drugs after Sushant’s father, Krishna Kishore Singh had filed an FIR against her. He had accused his son's ex-girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty of abetment to suicide. After her arrest, Rhea had taken the names of many Bollywood celebrities, who were involved in the same.

As per multiple reports, the Narcotics Control Bureau has filed draft charges against Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik in connection with drugs linked with the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. As per the report of PTI, special public prosecutor, Atul Sarpande stated that the prosecution maintains all the charges against all the accused. The prosecution has also proposed the court to charge Rhea and Showik for consumption of narcotic substances as well as procuring it for the late actor, Sushant.
It was on the afternoon of June 14, 2020, when the news channels had flashed the breaking news of actor, Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. The versatile actor, known for his performances in films like Kai Po Che, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, and many more had committed suicide at his Mumbai residence. Smelling a foul play in Sushant’s death, his family, friends, and fans have urged for a CBI probe into his death.

On the second death anniversary of Sushant Singh Rajput, Rhea Chakraborty had shared a series of romantic pictures with him. In the unseen pictures, Sushant could be spotted having a great time with Rhea. Along with the priceless pictures of Sushant and Rhea from their memory lane, the actress had also penned a 'miss you' note in the caption. Her note for him in the caption could be read as:
"Miss you everyday..."
After a lot of media trials, Rhea Chakraborty was granted bail by the Bombay High Court on October 7, 2020.
