After months of speculation around their relationship, the much-loved couple are all set to tie the knot very soon in an intimate wedding ceremony. While Rashmika Mandanna and her longtime rumoured boyfriend, Vijay Deverakonda have not made their relationship official, fans love their on and off screen chemistry. In October 2025, their engagement rumours spread like fire. Well, now Rashmika and Vijay’s fans have another reason to celebrate as a source close to the couple recently had an interview with The Hindustan Times. During the same, the source mentioned that the couple is all set to get married in February 2026 in Udaipur. The source was quoted as saying:
"Rashmika and Vijay’s wedding is planned to take place on February 26 at a palace in Udaipur. They have finalised one of the heritage properties. Much like their engagement, the plan is to keep the wedding as intimate as possible with only their loved ones in attendance."
For those who do not know, Rashmika and Vijay made major headlines in October 2025, when multiple reports claimed that the duo got engaged on October 3, 2025, in Hyderabad. If reports are to be believed, the ceremony was held very privately with only their close ones in attendance. After the rumoured engagement ceremony, The Girlfriend actress was spotted wearing an engagement ring in multiple interviews.
A few weeks ago, Rashmika Mandanna had sat down for a candid interview with Honest Townhall. During the same, she had expressed her wish to get married to her Geeta Govindam co-star, Vijay. For the unversed, in that interview, a fan asked the actress who she wants to date and whom she would marry, from all her co-stars. To which, Rashmika had shared:
"I would probably date Naruto. Sorry it's not from films but Naruto is someone who I have been obsessed with growing up. And marry, I’ll marry Vijay."
Rashmika and Vijay first met on the sets of Geetha Govindam, and since then fans have been shipping them because of their amazing chemistry. Years later, the duo reunited for the 2019 film, Dear Comrade. Slowly, the two became very good friends and eventually sparked dating rumours.
However, fans were convinced about their relationship in 2025, when reports claimed that the two got engaged. It is worth mentioning that later, during the success party of The Girlfriend, Vijay was seen kissing Rashmika's hand. He also gave a heartfelt speech appreciating Rashmika's journey and hardwork.
Talking about their work front, Rashmika Mandanna was last seen in the Telugu film, The Girlfriend. Reportedly, the actress is currently shooting for Cocktail 2, alongside Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon. She will also be seen in the film, Mysaa. On the other hand, Vijay Deverakonda was last seen in the action film, Kingdom. If reports are to be believed, he is currently gearing up for Rowdy Janardhan.
