Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda are one of the most adorable couples in Tollywood. While the duo never confirmed their relationship, fans closely observed their bond both on and off-screen. The couple allegedly got engaged secretly in October 2025. Currently, speculations are rife about Rashmika and Vijay’s wedding. A few days ago, reports surfaced that the couple was all set to tie the knot on February 2, 2026. According to the latest reports, the wedding has been rescheduled. Now, The Girlfriend actress indirectly confirmed her wedding date.
Recently, Rashmika Mandanna was spotted at the Mumbai airport. A video featuring Rashmika surfaced online. In the clip, a paparazzo congratulated the Animal actress. In response, Rashmika asked for what reason he was congratulating her. Hearing this, the paparazzo said, "Wedding, waiting for the 26th, ma’am." However, it was Rashmika’s reaction that caught the attention. Neither she corrects him nor dismisses the claim. She smiled back and nodded, which seemed like an indirect confirmation.
While Vijay and Rashmika have not officially confirmed their wedding, in December 2025, a source close to them confirmed their wedding date and venue to Hindustan Times. The source mentioned that the couple has planned to keep their wedding ceremony intimate, just like their engagement. The source was quoted as saying:
"Rashmika and Vijay’s wedding is planned to take place on February 26 at a palace in Udaipur. They have finalised one of the heritage properties. Much like their engagement, the plan is to keep the wedding as intimate as possible with only their loved ones in attendance."
According to a report by Hindustan Times, Rashmika and Vijay exchanged rings on October 3, 2025. The secret engagement ceremony took place a day after Dasara in Hyderabad. While the couple remain tight-lipped about their engagement, Vijay’s team back then confirmed it to Hindustan Times. They also mentioned that the duo was planning to tie the knot in February 2026. The private engagement ceremony of Vijay and Rashmika was attended by their closest friends and family.
Vijay and Rashmika sparked dating rumours for the first time with their blockbuster film, Geetha Govindam, which was released in 2018. Following the grand success of the film, the duo reunited for the film, Dear Comrade. According to the latest reports, after a seven-year hiatus, the two are all set to appear together again as a lead pair in the film, Ranabaali. This will be their third collaboration.
Rashmika and Vijay grabbed a lot of attention at the success party of The Girlfriend. In the event, both of them praised each other. Rashmika expressed her gratitude to Vijay and mentioned how the latter had been attached to her film, The Girlfriend. She said:
"Last but not least, Vijay ... Vijju has been a part of this film from the very beginning, and today he's here at the success meet too. For me, he's part of this whole journey. I can only hope everyone has a Vijay Deverakonda in their lives, because that's a blessing."
Vijay too didn’t shy away from accepting that Rashmika worked really hard. He shared how she had evolved over the years. He mentioned that while he is aggressive, Rashmika has always chosen kindness. He was quoted as saying:
"I've seen Rash evolve over the years. While I tend to be aggressive, she always chooses kindness. The world will see who she truly is one day. The Girlfriend isn't just a film, it's a purpose. Rash, I'm proud you're standing here with a film that gives strength to others."
