Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda, the much-in-love couple, officially got married on February 26, 2026, in Udaipur. For the last two weeks, fans couldn’t stop gushing over the newlyweds' love-filled pictures. Recently, the couple shared dreamy pictures from their sangeet night. On March 4, 2026, the couple had a grand reception in Hyderabad. The star-studded ceremony was held at Taj Krishna and was attended by several prominent personalities from the Telugu and Hindi film industries. When the newlyweds would return to work, find out.
Both Rashmika and Vijay are prominent actors who have won hearts with their impeccable acting. In fact, the couple has also worked together in two films, Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade and is widely known for their chemistry. For the unversed, the duo will come together after a 7-year hiatus for the period drama, Ranabaali. According to a report by 123Telugu, the newlyweds will resume shooting for their film, Ranabaali, from March 12, 2026. If the report is believed to be true, then Rashmika and Vijay are returning to work 2 weeks after their wedding ceremony.
Apart from Ranabaali, Vijay has two more films, Jana Gana Mana and Rowdy Janardhana, in the pipeline. He was last seen in the film, Kingdom. On the other hand, Rashmika will be next seen in the film, AA 22, starring Allu Arjun in the lead role. She also has films, Mysaa and Pushpa 3: The Rampage, in the pipeline.
On their sangeet night, Rashmika dazzled in a silver-toned lehenga, and Vijay looked dapper in a dark-blue-toned kurta-pyjama set with an embroidered coat. In fact, the couple’s jewellery caught special attention. Sharing various moments from their sangeet night, Rashmika penned a heartfelt note that was all things wholesome. She wrote:
"The night filled with love, tears of joy, laughter, music, singing, glitters and us dancing through the night. It was really the most fun night ever!! From Vijju and I wanting to surprise each other.. to family wanting to surprise us.. To being fully excited and surprised to see our families dance so freely and so so well! @falgunishanepeacockindia!! Guys!!!!! The stunning piecesss!! Guys!! Amazing!! It was super heavy but I was still in it all night!! 24.2.26! The night Vijay and I danced as one, surrounded by the love of our families and friends!"
From wedding attire and jewellery to venue, every small detail related to Rashmika and Vijay’s marriage became the talk of the town. Soon after the newlyweds shared the love-filled pictures from their wedding, fans flooded the comment section. However, it was the couple’s emotional note for each other that stole the spotlight. An excerpt from Rashmika’s note can be read as:
"Hi my loves. Introducing to you now “My Husband”! Mr. Vijay Deverakonda!! The man who taught me what true love feels like. The man who showed me what being in peace feels like! The man who told me everyday that dreaming big was absolutely ok! Vijju I am always short of words to describe the feelings I have for you!! I’ve always told you that!! I am so so so so soooo excited to becoming your wife! to be your wife! To be called your wife!! It’s full party time now!! Let’s have the bestestest life ever together! I love you!"
In his note, Vijay addressed his wife as his best friend. He also mentioned that her presence added meaning to his life. The note was all things wholesome. An excerpt from his note can be read as:
"One day, I missed her. Missed her in a way that made me feel like my day would’ve been better if she were around. Like my meals would’ve felt more wholesome if she were sitting across from me. Like I needed her - just to feel that sense of home and calm, no matter where I was. So, I made my best friend… my wife, 26.02.2026."
