Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda, the beloved couple of Tollywood, have finally tied the knot on February 26, 2026, in Udaipur. While the couple kept their wedding an intimate affair, it was nothing less than a royal wedding. On February 22, 2026, The Girlfriend actress announced her marriage to her longtime partner, Vijay Deverakonda. From pre-wedding festivities to their traditional South Indian wedding, it was all things wholesome. A while ago, the newlyweds announced that they are set to have a special celebration with their fans.
A while ago, the much-in-love couple, Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda, took to their Instagram Stories and shared a surprise for their fans. The duo shared a heartfelt note. In the note, the two mentioned that they wanted to celebrate their wedding with the 'VIROSH' fans by distributing sweets all across the country on March 1, 2026. They also shared a list of cities, which includes Hyderabad, Mahbubnagar, Karimnagar, Delhi, Chandigarh, Noida, Ghaziabad, Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Mumbai, Jaipur and more. They will be sending sweets to Bihar, but due to the train accident delay, it will reach on Monday, March 2, 2026. An excerpt from the note can be read as:
"To the beautiful people of this country. You have always been a part of our journeys and our love. And it would make us truly happy to celebrate our wedding with all of you. And how does India celebrate everything? With mithai and food. So on March 1st we are sending trucks filled with love and sweets across the country to share this big moment in our lives with all of you."
In the same note, the newlyweds added that they will do Annadanam in multiple temples across India. For the uninitiated, Annadanam is a sacred tradition in which offering food is considered a charitable service. They also shared a list of temples which includes, Karnataka’s Shivoham Temple, Sri Chamundeshwari Temple, and Radha Krishna Temple - Hare Krishna Hill, Uttar Pradesh’s Sri Sri Krishna Balaram Mandir, Assam’s Sri Rukmini Temple and more.
Both Rashmika and Vijay kept their relationship low-key. However, now it seems like the couple had been waiting to confess their feelings for each other at the right time. For them, the right time was their big day. On February 26, 2026, after exchanging vows, Rashmika took to her Instagram handle and shared a carousel featuring various moments from her wedding to Vijay. She proudly introduced the man of her dreams and called him her husband. She also confessed her deep love for him and addressed him lovingly as 'Vijju'. She wrote:
"Hi my loves. Introducing to you now “My Husband”! Mr. Vijay Deverakonda!! The man who taught me what true love feels like. The man who showed me what being in peace feels like! The man who told me everyday that dreaming big was absolutely ok! Vijju I am always short of words to describe the feelings I have for you!! I’ve always told you that!! I am so so so so soooo excited to becoming your wife! to be your wife! To be called your wife!! It’s full party time now!! Let’s have the bestestest life ever together! I love you!"
On the same day, Vijay also shared multiple snaps from his traditional South Indian wedding to Rashmika. Along with the pictures, he penned a note. In the note, the Kingdom actor expressed how his life has become meaningful with his wife’s presence. He also called his wife, Rashmika, his best friend. He wrote:
"One day, I missed her. Missed her in a way that made me feel like my day would’ve been better if she were around. Like my meals would’ve felt more wholesome if she were sitting across from me. Like my workouts would’ve been more fun and less of a punishment if she were doing them with me. Like I needed her - just to feel that sense of home and calm, no matter where I was. So, I made my best friend… my wife 26.02.2026."
