The couple had their wedding in Udaipur. Since the beginning, Rashmika and Vijay always kept their relationship hush-hush. However, it was only a few days before their wedding that they confirmed the same through a statement.
On February 26, 2026, Rashmika and Vijay proudly announced each other as husband and wife to the world. Their wedding photos and open letters for each other left people in happy tears. It was said that the couple will have their reception party on March 4, 2026, in Hyderabad. Reportedly, high-profile guests are expected to be a part of Rashmika and Vijay's celebration. While confirmation awaits, recently the newlyweds were spotted at the Tirupati Balaji temple. Vijay looked handsome in a white kurta-pyjama, which he wore with an orange shawl.
Rashmika, on the other hand, looked gorgeous as she was clad in a saree and gold jewels. Her glow was simply unmissable. Vijay and Rashmika were accompanied by the actor's brother, Anand Deverakonda. Well, this is the couple's second public appearance as husband and wife. After they got married, the couple was spotted at an airport. For their first public appearance, Vijay wore a printed co-ord set, while Rashmika looked the best in a red anarkali.

Rashmika and Rakshit met on the sets, fell in love and got engaged in 2017. However, in 2018, they called it quits. With Rashmika then giving love a chance in the arms of Vijay, and having been acquainted with him already professionally in 2017 through their film, Geetha Govindam, people questioned whether she was with Vijay since the time she was engaged. Well, nothing could be confirmed, but Rashmika and Vijay were best friends who felt deeply in love with each other.
The couple kept their relationship hidden. They often would drop photos from identical locations. However, they never confirmed their relationship. In 2025, the duo exchanged rings, reportedly in Vijay's Hyderabad home. Following this, the speculations about their wedding began, and Rashmika later confirmed the same. It was on February 26, 2026, when, in the morning, the couple got married as per the Andhra style, while they tied the knot as per the Koda rituals in the evening.
Vijay and Rashmika's wedding photos are what people were obsessing over, for all the good reasons. They chose heritage jewels and Anamika Khanna outfits. Rashmika looked like an angel in a red saree while Vijay looked handsome in his wedding outfit.
