Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are going to be parents for the second time. A few days back, on April 19, 2026, the couple shared the happy news with their sea of fans. Well, Ranveer has been keeping a low-key profile after the success of his blockbuster movie, Dhurandhar. Now, amid this, Dhurandhar's 'Hamza' makes his first appearance after he and Deepika announced that they are expecting their second baby. Fans of the actor could not stop showering him with love, as he reacted in the most humble way.
Ranveer Singh made a brief public appearance for the first time since his wife, Deepika Padukone, announced that she and the actor were expecting their second baby. He was seen stepping out in a red tee, black sunglasses and blue denims. His array of fans who were waiting for him with patient breath screamed, "Baba, badhai ho," and it reflected how his fans are totally connected with him and are happiest that he is going to be a daddy again.
Netizens went berserk in the comments section. Some wrote, 'aww' while others said, "Looking father of 2". It is interesting to note that Ranveer's fans could not stop cheering for him as a large crowd gathered to just see him. 'Baba' kept his look casual with a red t-shirt, jeans and waved to his sea of fans before entering his vehicle. Ranveer's fans have been on cloud nine ever since he and Deepika shared a snap of their baby, Dua, holding a positive pregnancy test kit. The couple had given an unseen glimpse of their baby girl and captioned the post with two evil eye emojis.
Well, Deepika earlier at the WAVES 2025 summit had spoken about how welcoming Dua had changed her priorities in life. She shared how, from being a career-driven person, she has started to care for another human being. Deepika mentioned that motherhood has been something which was life-altering, emotional, and she has understood to appreciate the everyday things of life. In her words:
"I'm discovering this new life post-embracing motherhood. The minute you've had a child, you're now responsible for another human being, and especially in the way I've led my life, it's been so much about me - leaving home, my ambition, my career, and everything has been about my life and everything that I wanted for myself. And now, suddenly, you're caring for this person who is dependent on you for everything."
Ranveer Singh, after his 2023 movie, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani and Singham Again, 2024, was seen in Aditya Dhar's Dhurandhar franchise. The first movie released in 2025 and was loved by the masses.In 2026, Dhurandhar: The Revenge released and reportedly minted Rs. 3000 crore. Ranveer's chemistry with Sara Arjun in the movie became the talk of the town. Ranveer Singh, once at an event in 2024, before the arrival of Dua, opened up about the emotions he was facing before becoming a dad. He revealed that he has been on daddy duties since a long time now and shared:
"That infinite happiness that I am experiencing right now, I wish I had the words to express what it's like. But there are no words in any language that can describe this happiness. It's like magic. I am excited for me. I have been on daddy duty for a long time now."
