Proud Parents Shahid And Mira Kapoor Take Their Newborn Baby Girl Home

Parenthood is a blessing. Having a little one, who is quite literally a part of you, must be an amazing feeling. And therefore, we can totally understand what Shahid Kapoor and his lovely wife, Mira, are feeling at this moment. They must be on cloud nine.

Mira Kapoor gave birth to a gorgeous baby girl in Mumbai’s Hinduja hospital on August 26, 2016.

The over-the-moon father, Shahid, who had been taking great care of Mira during her pregnancy, announced his happiness to the world with a tweet that read:

"She has arrived and words fall short to express our happiness. Thank you for all your wishes."

Even the little one’s grandmom, Neelima Azim, expressed her pleasure on becoming a dadi in the most beautiful words ever. Here is a little excerpt from what she said about the little bundle of joy:

"We would have been happy to have either a boy or a girl. But as I have two sons, I wanted it to be a girl. Bachchi ke kadam ghar mein pade hai, main bahut khush hoon (a little girl has come to our house, and I am very happy). We are all so blessed with God almighty’s kindness. We are all very joyous."

This is really heart touching, isn’t it?
