There is no doubt that Priyanka Chopra Jonas shares a great camaraderie with her mother, Madhu Chopra. In fact, we have often seen Priyanka's mother, Madhu attending her events and conferences. So, it was obvious for the mama bear to come in support of her darling daughter.

Priyanka Chopra's mother has always been a pillar of strength for her, even when Madhu Chopra's husband, Ashok Chopra had passed away in the year 2013, she had put on the tough face for her kids. We remember in a 2016 interview, Madhu had shared that they had trespassed the mother-daughter relationship and became friends when Priyanka was in her late teens.
Recently, on an online fashion poll, Madhu Chopra publicly declared that her daughter's fashion sense is better than actress, Deepika Padukone. Well, she might not have written it in that way, but that is what is being perceived from her comment on the Twitter poll. The poll was a comparison between Priyanka's recent photoshoot and Deepika's old picture. When Madhu saw the fashion face-off, she instantly came in support of her daughter and wrote, "Only a blind will think they are wearing same@outfit. Besides Pri always carries Haute couture better." Madhu Chopra's comment instantly gave a chance for trollers to share their unfiltered views. When a Twitter user wrote, "Aunty is so embarrssing", Madhu instantly replied, "Stating facts is not embarrassing".

In an interview with the DNA, Madhu had talked about her daughter's grand wedding. She had shared how it was an emotional moment for her and she was all teary-eyed when she had seen her daughter dressed as a bride. She had said "I had waited for this day all my life. I was at a loss of words. When I saw Priyanka, I couldn’t control my emotions. The white gown was so beautiful. My baby looked like a princess. Priyanka looked ‘her prettiest best’ in the outfit. There was no jhatak, no jhilmil — it was a simple yet classy ensemble. We followed all the rituals to the T. There were no short cuts. I wanted an Indian shaadi for her and Priyanka knew that. She fulfilled my wish. It’s lovely to see the number of love people have for her and Nick. I’m immensely proud of her."
Earlier, Madhu Chopra had opened up on Priyanka's emergency birth story. She had shared, "She was an emergency C-section. Her Dad was not in town and I was rushed to the hospital. A nurse asked me: What you want? I said: Girl. She said: Most want boys. I said: No, I want A Girl. It took 4 months to name her. A close friend of mine suggested I name her Priyanka."
