For those unaware, Priyanka was selected as a presenter for the star-studded event held in Beverly Hills, California. As the duo made their entrance onto the red carpet with style and confidence, they made sure to greet all the fans and photographers present there.
While the fans were captivated by Priyanka and Nick's presence at what one can easily describe as Hollywood's biggest night, the Dostana actress took to social media to share a snippet of what went behind her and Nick's look for the ceremony. Despite living overseas for the most part owing to her work, she once again proved that she is a true 'desi girl' at heart by revealing a hack that was taught to her by her grandmothers.
After a successful end to the Golden Globe Awards night, Priyanka Chopra took to her official Instagram account on January 12, 2026, to give her followers a glimpse into what all happened before she attended the star-packed ceremony with her husband, Nick. The clip begins with the actress travelling with her husband to their hotel in a lavish vehicle. After playing with the light switches inside with Nick, Priyanka addressed the camera and said that she loved doing these kinds of events with Nick. This is because they get to have a lot of fun in each other's company. She also mentioned that she is “really looking forward to date night with my husband.”
A bit later in the video, Priyanka Chopra can be seen admiring her gorgeous Dio dress, which she chose to wear on stage to present the Best Actor award at the ceremony. Soon, we get a glimpse into the entire process of her getting ready. While doing her hair and makeup, Priyanka said that she was trying to make peace with the fact that she'd have to tell a “sports joke” on stage. In another moment, the actress can be seen telling one of the members of her team up until Christmas 2025 till the day before the Golden Globes, she met no one apart from her family.
What caught fans' and our attention the most in the entire BTS video shared by Priyanka was when she and Nick stepped out for the event. At the moment, the actress can be seen wiping her eyes. Saying that her eye will not stop watering while looking at the camera, she noted that she still hopes that everything will be good. Within seconds of saying this, Priyanka laughed and pulled out a tissue from within her dress. Showcasing her desi side, she said, "I've my trusted tissue. Humari daadiyon ne accha sikhaya hai." It is worth mentioning that Priyanka wore a dark blue strapless gown for the event, and in India, back in the day, women would often keep their purses or small belongings inside their blouses.
The video clip which Priyanka captioned, “What you didn't see @goldenglobes,” saw an outpour of love in the comments section. However, it was her “daddi” comment that fans raved about the most. One of the actress's fans wrote, “Love the daadi comment.” Another social media user penned, “‘Our grandmother taught me well' has my heart.” A third user wrote, “Stunning as always. 'Hamari dadiyon ne achha sikhaya hai', love the way you said it.”
