The actress, who often shares glimpses of her personal celebrations featuring her family with her followers, recently revealed a very special moment from her Karwa Chauth festivities. While appearing as the first guest on the new season of the TV show, The Great Indian Kapil Show, she discussed how her husband, Nick, made a special arrangement only for her to celebrate Karwa Chauth above the clouds in his plane. This gesture from Nick, apart from being immensely thoughtful, permanently etched the memory in Priyanka's mind. Sharing her unique experience, she said:
“Humne itni ajeeb ajeeb jagahon pe moon ko dhundhne ki koshish ki hai. Ek baar voh stadium pe the aur show ho raha hai. Chand mile hi na. Clouds the aur baarish aane wali thi. 60-70 hazaar aur voh show kiye ja rahe hai. 10 baj gaye, 11 baj gaye, dikh hi nahi raha. Romantic cheez batau? Voh apne plane mein clouds ke upar leke gaye aur chaand dekh ke vrat toda.”
This revelation hugely amused the show's host, Kapil Sharma. After listening to Priyanka's story, he quickly retorted, “Phir, sirf vrat toda?” finding it hard to believe that it's all they did on the aeroplane. In response, the Heads of State actress said they had sweets in the air, too.
As the hilarious episode unfolded with their amusing banter, Kapil Sharma made a playful remark about Priyanka's husband, Nick. Soon after he jokingly flirted with the actress, he said, “Idhar subtitles aata hai…kahin Nick padh na le.” To this, Priyanka, who knows her husband the best, responded:
“Nick ko aadat hai usko pata hai sab mujhse flirt karte hai, lekin main ghar toh wahi jaati hoon.”
In recent years, Priyanka's global stardom has made her one of the most sought-after actresses in both Bollywood and Hollywood. Although she has been more focused on doing international projects, she is all set to make her return in Indian cinema after years with filmmaker, SS Rajamouli's Telugu film, Varanasi.
