Priyanka Chopra opened up about her husband, Nick Jonas' reaction after he ate Hajmola for the first time. Here's what she said about the same.
Global star, Priyanka Chopra was seen recently on the sets of the fourth season of The Great Indian Kapil Show. She had engaged in a light-hearted conversation with the host, Kapil Sharma, and shared an interesting anecdote. Priyanka narrated the incident where her husband, Nick, had tasted Hajmola for the first time in his life. The actress could not stop laughing as she spoke about his reaction. She had also spoken about her daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas.
For the unversed, Hajmola is a famous sweet and tangy desi digestive tablet. Priyanka, on the sets of The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 4, revealed how Nick was curious to try Hajmola. She told the host, Kapil Sharma, to imagine how an American would react if they were given Hajmola to eat. A stunned Kapil asked Priyanka, "Hajmola khilayi hai aapne? Seriously?" Priyanka, in her words, explained having a drawer where she keeps a lot of tangy and chatpata things. Priyanka shared:
"So mera ek drawer hai, jiske andar aampapad, Hajmola, sab chatar patar cheeze mere ghar me kaafi thi. Nick puchhte hai iss drawer me hai kya? Toh maine bola ki issey tum durr hi raho thoda; yeh tumhari samajh ki thodisi bahar hai."
Priyanka continued that Nick was curious to try the Hajmola that was kept in the drawer. She revealed that one day he really wanted to know how Hajmola tasted, so Priyanka made him eat the same. As soon as Nick tasted the Hajmola, he had a funny response to it. Priyanka speaking on how Nick reacted after tasting Hajmola said:
"He is like, 'Why does this smell like farts?"
A user seeing the funny video of Priyanka revealing Nick's reaction after trying Hajmola commented, "Nick tried Hajmola…and instantly regretted it. That intense khatta-meetha Indian flavour was too much for him—while Priyanka just laughed and enjoyed her desi treat!" Another one wrote, "Kyu Priyanka kyu. Poor Nick jiju."
When Priyanka narrated the anecdote related to Nick's reaction after eating Hajmola, the audience could not stop laughing. Kapil was seen having fun and engaging in candid conversations with Priyanka. He left no stone unturned in flirting with Priyanka. He asked her how does Nick deal with such situations, to which Priyanka calmly said that both of them have a very secure relationship so things are very smooth with her husband. However, Priyanka advised Kapil to change the way he flirted, and the actress had even spoken to his wife, Ginni Chatrath. Priyanka told Ginni to give Kapil some new training on his flirting style.
On the work front, Priyanka is all ready for the release of her movie, Varanasi. The actress has collaborated with SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu for the movie. She was recently seen in Hyderabad, where the stellar cast revealed the title teaser of the movie. Priyanka will play the role of 'Mandakini' in the movie and will be seen in the Indian cinema post a long hiatus. Her fans have been waiting to watch her in the film, Varanasi.
