Bollywood actress, Preity Zinta is a doting mommy to her two adorable twins, Jai and Gia. The actress is enjoying every moment spent with her kids. Amidst it, she also makes sure to keep her kids rooted in their Indian culture. On the occasion of the 75th Independence Day, Preity celebrated the day with her kids, Jai and Giam and also shared glimpses of it.
For the unversed, after five years of marital bliss, in 2021, Preity Zinta had embraced motherhood via surrogacy. Sharing the happy news, she had also revealed the names of her munchkins — Jai and Gia. She also thanked all the people, who had made her parenthood journey smooth and beautiful.

On August 15, 2022, Preity took to her Instagram handle and posted adorable pictures of her twins celebrating the 75th Independence Day. In the first picture, Preity was seen flaunting the Indian flag. In the following picture, her daughter, Gia looked pretty in a yellow-coloured floral dress. The doting mommy also shared a glimpse of her son, Jai holding the Indian flag. Alongside it, Preity wrote:
"Happy Independence Day to my fellow Indians all over the world from the three of us. #75years of independence #harghartiranga."
On the occasion of Mother's Day, Preity had posted the first-ever picture of her twins. In the photo, Preity was seen holding her baby girl, Gia while her mother held her son, Jai. Her daughter had worn a beautiful pink-coloured floral tutu dress with a matching headband. On the other hand, her son, Jai had looked dapper in a checkered-print shirt.
Alongside it, Preity had penned a heartfelt note for her mother. She had shared that she wasn't apprehensive of her mother's worries and care. But now, Preity understands all her mother's concerns. She prayed that her kids understand her better and become sensitive towards her. An excerpt of her note could be read as:
"I never understood why my mother called me so much, worried about me constantly & wanted to know my whereabouts, as I galavanted around the world as a teenager & an adult, till I became a mother. Now I’m beginning to understand it. From thinking of myself first, to learning to put my kids first, I’m beginning to understand what motherhood is all about."
