This 'Potterhead' Couple Had An Unbelievable Harry Potter Theme Wedding Of All Times

There are fans and then there are FANS! We all know about the Harry Potter mania that is all around the world. But there is one couple that has perhaps beaten all fans to claim the number one spot on the crazy things done by Harry Potter fans. We are talking about the recently married couple, Cassie and Lewis Byron, who exchanged their vows in a Harry Potter theme-based elaborate wedding at Manchester Town Hall in England.

This intricately planned Hogwarts wedding had all the details down to the T. Right from Azkaban poster place settings to Gryffindor and Slytherin shoes to Ferrero Rocher Snitch Snacks, the wedding had all the nuisances from all the seven books of Harry Potter.

As a matter of fact, Lewis proposed Cassie at the Universal Wizarding World of Harry Potter last year! Seems like just the right kind of proposal of the couple, right?

Wedding Details

The guest list was limited to just 130 people who were all given a wand along with their invitations to see Cassie and Lewis making an ‘unbreakable vow’ to each other.

The bride wore a red garter bearing the Hogwarts coat of arms. She even carried the much talked about paper bouquet (yes not a flower one!), which was made from 20 cut up novels. The same was carried by the bridesmaids as well.

The best man at the wedding brought down the rings on a copy of Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince and the rings were inscribed with Severus Snape’s pledge to Harry’s mom Lily.

Wedding Reception

The wedding reception took place at Manchester Midland Hotel where the couple even performed the final battle between Harry Potter and Lord Voldemort with wands! The reception hall was aptly turned into the Great Hall of Hogwarts!

Wedding Decorations

The couple included some brilliantly inspired stuff from Harry Potter series round their reception hall. You could see the Ministry Of Magic WANTED posters featuring groom and bride as well as the guests. There were 11 tables named after the 7 books and 4 houses of Hogwarts, i.e., Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff. And not just that, guests were seated after being sorted through the well…Sorting Hat!

And the icing on the cake (literally) was lego figures of Lord Voldemort and Cassie’s favourite character Bellatrix Lestrange on top.

The couple also got inked with Harry Potter tattoos. While Cassie got a deathly hallow, Lewis had a dark mark, the sign of Lord Voldemort on himself.
