Piers Morgan's wife, Celia Walden once revealed the secret to their happily-ever-after was the sabbatical she took from the role of his wife.
Piers Morgan stood up for his wife, Celia Walden, after her name was dragged on his show out of context by the influencer, Harrison Sullivan. He referred to Celia to mock Piers. Sullivan showed the photos of Morgan's wife by the poolside with a sign, 'Wanted pool boy' written in the back.

In a 2023 interview with Christine Lampard, Celia revealed the secret behind their happy married life. She stated that they never had any problem earlier. Celia revealed that she chose to take a sabbatical from him for six weeks. It helped reboot their relationship, and it turned out to be amazing for both of them.
Celia revealed that they didn't talk over the phone or via messages. However, when they met again, there was a lot of excitement. It felt like the early days of the couple's wedding as per Celia. She was quoted as saying:
"It was very good for both of us. We didn’t have many phone calls, but we did message and I just found it so exciting when we saw each other again. It felt like the early days of our marriage or even the early days of dating and I love that."
Celia shared that when they reunited, they didn't stop talking. She added that Piers was pleased to be allowed back into her life, as men like their wives around all the time. Celia also expressed her thoughts on sabbatical and how it brings back the needed charm in the marriage. She added:
"He’s very pleased to be allowed back into the fold, because I think men do like their wives to be around a lot of the time, at least I think they do. He’s in fine form. Sometimes, it’s not that there’s anything in particular that’s wrong, but it grinds to a bit of a halt, and you reboot it and suddenly it comes back to life. We had just over five weeks apart over the summer, and to be fair, it was sort of work-necessitated because Piers was interviewing serial killers, which he found preferable to being married to me, and I was working in LA, so he was all over."
For the unversed, Celia Walden is also a British journalist, just like her husband, Piers Morgan. She is also an author and columnist and has left a mark in the media with her work. She is the daughter of George Walden, a former Conservative MP, and Sarah Walden, an art historian. Celia studied at the Westminster School, and she further completed her studies at Newnham College in Cambridge. After which, she began her career in Journalism, and rose to immense fame
Celia is married to Piers, and the two first met each other in 2006 in a professional setup. At that time, Piers was married to his first wife, Marion Shalloe. However, the two kept denying their involvement when Piers was married. It was after the divorce that Piers chose to pursue Celia, and he did all he could to woo her, even though he wasn't the idle man, as Celia had claimed. But Piers' constant effort made Celia fall in love, and after dating for years, they got married in June 2010. Celia and Piers welcomed their first child, a daughter, Elise, in 2011.
