Sakshi Shrivas and Justin D'Cruz found support in Payal Dhare (better known as Payal Gaming) as the couple issued clarification regarding their alleged leaked MMS.
Justin D'Cruz and Sakshi Shrivas, known for their appearance on Splitsvilla X4, became the subjects of a viral leaked MMS controversy that followed a similar viral incident involving content creator, Payal Gaming. As the issue gained traction, tons of people flocked to the comment section of Sakshi and Justin's posts to ask for the link to the complete video, assuming it was a leaked intimate moment of the couple. The duo chose to ignore it for a couple of days, but then ultimately revealed the reality behind the clip. Amid the viral controversy, Justin and Sakshi received support from their fans and also from Payal Gaming.
The alleged viral footage showed a shirtless Justin having a casual conversation with his girlfriend, Sakshi. It was a close-up clip of the duo, their faces close together, suggestive and piquing curiosity. The clip was a harmless snippet from their New Year's special YouTube vlog, edited in an odd way. Misleading accounts and websites used a casual clip of Sakshi and Justin to create clickbait, suggesting it was an intimate video. Such links are often used to generate traffic or financial gain through deceptive engagement tactics.
Justin D'Cruz and Sakshi Shrivas released a clarification through a joint Instagram post, regarding their alleged leaked MMS. They confirmed "there's no link" to any intimate video and urged followers not to fall for clickbait, noting that many such links lead to nothing. The couple expressed disappointment that such a casual vlog clip received hundreds of thousands of shares when misrepresented, citing it as a reflection of how quickly misinformation spreads online. Rubbishing the claims of a viral MMS, Justin and Sakshi wrote:
"There is no MMS. And there's no LINK! Stop spreading this stupidity the clip that is circulating is actually a clip of our vlog."
Payal Gaming (real name Payal Dhare), who was the victim of a similar viral MMS controversy, understood the mental strain Sakshi Shrivas and Justin D'Cruz must be undergoing. She stood by them and shared her disgust regarding such fabricated content. According to her, making AI-generated or misleading videos regarding celebrities has become a "new business." She slammed the people addicted to watching intimate clips of others, even those ready to pay for such content. Payal's comment on Sakshi and Justin's post can be read as:
"People have created a new business Add the name of any public figure, spread fake things and these corn addict beggars will come asking for links in the comments and even give some money!! literally disgusting."
A widely circulated clip on social media platforms such as X (formerly Twitter), Telegram, and Instagram claimed that an intimate video featuring Payal had been leaked while she was in Dubai. The circulated video was titled 'Payal Gaming Dubai MMS' to generate greater buzz. The controversy emerged shortly after Payal gained massive popularity as the viral girl in the stands during the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 India vs Australia semi-final match in Dubai. Fact-checks by multiple news outlets and digital experts identified the video as an AI-generated deepfake or a recycled clip of an unrelated individual.
Experts noted the 'Dubai MMS' narrative was a targeted campaign designed to exploit Payal's sudden fame and drive traffic to phishing links or malware. On December 17, 2025, the gaming streamer broke her silence via an Instagram statement, clarifying that the individual in the video was not her and that the situation was "deeply hurtful and dehumanizing". Payal confirmed she would take legal action against those spreading the fabricated content.
