'Pavitra Rishta' Fame Prarthana Got Engaged To A Famous Writer-Director In Royal Blue Gown

Now, the cute, lively, vivacious and bubbly on-screen sister of Ankita Lokhande, Prarthana Behere got engaged and her fans are celebrating this.

Yes, the actress, who rose to fame through Indian television famous show, Pavitra Rishta is taken now. She exchanged rings sometime in August 2017 with writer-director. Abhishek Bawkar is the founder of ‘The Red Bull Studios’ & has worked as a director, writer, photographer, producer and for various Marathi films. Not just this, he has also presented films like Dabba Ais Pais, Sugar Salt & Prem, & an upcoming film Sobat. He is a big name in Marathi film industry.

The couple is all set to walk down the aisle in November 2017. The ecstatic bride-to-be stated this in an interview earlier:

"I will get engaged in August and the wedding is on November 14."

When she was probed to tell why she chose a writer-director over an actor, she said:

“I never aspired to become an actor myself, I wanted to be a writer-director. I can't relate to most actors, as all they talk about is fitness and make-up. I am more inclined towards filmmaking; I believe that's where the real work happens. I like conversing with directors and writers."
