'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' Star Parth Samthaan Has Some Savage Views About Falling In Love Again

Ever since Ekta Kapoor revealed to us that Anurag and Prerna will once again be back on our television screens after more than a decade, our happiness knew no bounds! Soon after, fans’ guessing game started as to who would Ekta choose as Anurag-Prerna and then came her ‘big revelation’- Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan actor Parth Samthaan will play the lead as Anurag and Erica Fernandes will be her Prerna. As expected, Kasautii Zindagii Kay is one of the highest TRP-grossers of Star Plus and within very little time, these two have already become our favourites! And when stars become our favourites, all that we want to do is know more about their real self and Parth Samthaan is definitely one of those stars who surely don’t like to disappoint their fans.

Parth’s relationship status has always been famous for its own set of controversies. There have been rumours about Parth dating his Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan co-star, Niti Taylor. Sometime back, rumour mills were also rife that Parth is bisexual and is apparently dating once Bigg Boss contestant, Vikas Gupta. However, there have been no confirmation on the same. It was only yesterday (February 05, 2019), when the Warrior High actor took to his Instagram stories to reveal his relationship status. A picture posted by the handsome actor had a couple of relationship options. A tick was marked on the box which said, “Not falling for that Shit again”, which suggests that Parth is in no mood to get into a relationship anytime soon. Here is a picture of the same:

In a 2016 interview TellyChakker, Vikas opened up about the rumours surrounding his and Parth’s alleged relationship. Bigg Boss’s ‘mastermind’ contestant was then quoted as saying, “Parth used my fame and strong hold in the industry to make a mark and gain popularity. I am not sure exactly why but it looks like from the latest turn of events he has been trying to extort money, gain publicity and threatening me to get rid of the past. He and his legal consultants thought I would be easy bait. He also added, “But they were wrong. When the cops sent me a summon, I showed them all the proofs and negated each and every complain of Parth. They agreed and let me go. That’s why I am here today giving this interview. I thank God that I was wise enough to keep proofs with me (which I will reveal in time to come), or else an innocent man would have been incarcerated, because someone wanted a front page article on a paper. Had I molested Parth on December then why did he go partying with me later that month? Would you party with a molester? He is a liar.” About his relationship with Parth, Vikas had added, “I don’t want to talk about the nature of relationship at this point of time. neither I nor Parth have any obligation to talk about our personal life. I don’t need to answer anyone, I don’t care. But if legalities demand, I will open up, not before that. But I and Parth were very close and I shared a very cordial and warm relationship with him.”

In the same year, Vikas had shared a very controversial picture on his Instagram handle where Parth is seen giving a peck to Vikas Gupta while lying on the bed. About the same, he had then shared, “I have no idea. Why would he even do something which could jeopardize mine and his career, goes beyond my understanding. He leaks out something, the media calls me. Tomorrow I leak out something, the media will call him. How long will this continue? I am of tired of it now.”

A day after Vikas gave his interview in 2016, Parth had revealed to BollywoodLife that he is ‘straight’ and is looking for a girlfriend! This is what he had shared, “I am very much straight. Aap mere ko kisi ladki ko kiss karne ko bolo, main full passion ke saath karunga (laughs uproariously). However, I respect people of different sexual orientations. An individual’s sexual preference should be respected. I am straight and hoping to find a girlfriend soon (laughs).”

However, all is well between Vikas and Parth now and the duo are often spotted being clicked together. In an interview with TOI, Parth had revealed, "Vikas and I met a couple of times and we wondered where all this negativity would take us. What happened between us was not good, but we both belong to a field where such quarrels snowball into major controversies, and it becomes difficult to survive if you stretch it. You need to grow in life and it is important that there is positivity around you. I think that we are on the same page now and will continue to be friends. We have put all the negativity behind us. Having said that, I don’t want to comment on his performance on Bigg Boss and his career choices. I am just happy that things have been sorted out between us.”

Speaking about their reunion, Vikas had also added, "I am happy that Parth is playing Anurag (male lead in 'Kasauti…') and I have really liked Erica (Fernandes, female lead) too, in the promos of the show. It feels good to see him in a good professional space. Regarding what happened between us, I cannot forget the hurt I went through during that time. We were best friends, and the incident left me shaken. Though Parth and I can never be best friends again, we decided that it was important to let go of all that negativity. I have moved on, and professionally, I am in a good space. Both of us are at peace with our lives and when that happens, you let each other grow. What has happened in the past has no relevance now. Also, I only live in the present.”

About his sexuality, Parth had added, “My family also reads the papers, so they are aware of what’s happening. I have clarified everything to them and given them the confidence that I know what I am. I was in a relationship with a girl with almost a year and a half. However, in a 2018 interview with Pinkvilla, Parth assured that he is better equipped to handle criticisms and controversies now, “Right, I was not bothered by what is happening. I believe in this thing that you should not care about what people think and just do your own thing. I have learnt a few lessons, everyone grows from their experience. I am in a positive frame of mind right now and I am more focused on the show itself.”
