Recently, Parmish was bashed for his affair with actress and model, Harman Brar. Amid the backlash, Parmish bared his heart out on the matter and addressed the murmurs.
After five years of marriage, Parmish Verma confirmed his divorce from Geet Grewal. The couple got married on October 19, 2021, in Canada. Reacting to the trolling, Parmish addressed how he has been targetted due to his personal life. He stated that it is easy to put gender-biased blame and make the story look simple, and make the other one look superior. Taking to his IG handle, Parmish wrote:
"Being a man makes you a convenient psychological scapegoat; blame the gender, simplify the story, and the mob gets to feel morally superior. I understand the psychology of it, and I accept the burden without resentment. When I was drowning, fiobody came to save me. I dealt with my own cosequences, carried my own pain, and learned to stand again.
Further, Parmish added that he had the displine to respect his ex-wife and not say bad things about her. And and he won't confuse bitterness with masculinity. He also highlighted that he wants to keep the respect of the women in his life, and wrote:
"That, too, is being a man. So is having the discipline to respect my ex-wife, respect the woman in my life today, and never confuse bitterness with masculinity. What isn't manhood is weakness disguised as virtue becoming a weasel in a mob, feeding an agenda for attention, money, and calling cowardice morality. I know what I am. I would rather be hated for standing upright than applauded for crawling with the crowd. I'm proud of the man I became."
For the unversed, it was on April 28, 2022, when the Punjabi singer had taken to his Instagram handle and informed everyone about the news of embracing parenthood soon with his wife, Geet Grewal. Parmish Grewal had shared a cutesy picture with his darling wife in which the former could be seen hugging her from behind. The happiness of embracing parenthood was clearly visible on their faces. Alongside it, Parmish penned:
"We're Delighted to share the news that we're Becoming Parents. Thank you, Lord, for the blessings you have bestowed on our life. Waheguru Mehar Kare."
Parmish Verma's made headlines after he shared a photo with Harman. It sparked a lot of speculation about the two being in a relationship. Harman Brar has collaborated with for her song, Dekhi Ja, and has appeared with the singer in many reels, Instagram Stories, and photos since their collaboration.
Netizens were left wondering whether Parmish and Harman were working together on a new song. Another fan wondered if the two were in relationship. It is worth adding that neither Parmish nor Harman have yet addressed the speculations regarding their affair. The couple's professional association sparked murmurs of them being together.
Harman has been part of the music video Bheja with MC Square which left many fans in awe. Harman has also worked as a model and has made her name in the Punjab music industry. She has been part of films such as Lekh, Rabb Da Radio 2, Tabaah, and Harjeeta.
So far, Parmish has not shared the reason for his separation and confirmed his divorce.
