In a recent interview, Pakistani actor, Rehan Sheikh shared that during his prime time, he was obsessed with Bollywood actress, Madhuri Dixit.
Rehan Sheikh is one of the most critically acclaimed actors in Pakistan whose acting prowess has impressed people not only in his nation but also across borders. The actor started his career as a journalist and later tried his luck in acting and hosting. He gained widespread recognition for the drama, Inkaar. Rehan Sheikh has been a part of dramas like Aaghosh, Akbari Asghari, Akhri Barish, Sanjha, Pehchaan, The Castle: Aik Umeed, Aik Nayee Cinderella and more.
Rehan Sheikh left showbiz after doing a few hit dramas but later did a comeback in the industry with Akbari Asghari in the role of a father. Recently, Rehan Sheikh appeared on Dunya News’s popular show, Mazaaqraat, hosted by Imran Ashraf, and revealed that the actor was obsessed with a Bollywood actress during his prime time.

During the run of the show, Imran Ashraf asked Rehan Sheikh if he ever had a crush on someone, to which the actor revealed that when he was in his prime, he used to have a crush on every second lady he met. He then elaborated that during a phase in his youth, he was obsessed with Bollywood actress, Madhuri Dixit. He added that her beauty and aura fascinated him, and he was obsessed with her.
Rehan Sheikh added that he was a journalist during that time, so he used this opportunity to write columns, especially for Madhuri Dixit. He wrote 2 to 3 columns on Madhuri, and in one, he wrote his dream sequence with his desire to meet Madhuri once in his life. In Rehan’s words:
“Mei ek zamane mei obsessed tha Madhuri Dixit se. Uss time mei likhta bhi tha, toh unn pe meine 2-3 column bhi likh dia. Meine dream sequence likha tha mere unse mulaqat ki.”

Madhuri Dixit is one of the most celebrated personalities in Hindi cinema. The actress has a solid fan base and, to date, rules the hearts of many. The actress in 1999 tied the knot with doctor, Shriram Madhav Nene and the couple is blessed with two boys, Arin Nene and Ryan Nene. On the professional front, Madhuri is currently a judge on the show, Dance Deewane and is also reportedly roped in for the film, Bhool Bhuliyaa 3.
