Recently, influencer, Orry stood up for his close friend, Janhvi Kapoor and slammed YouTuber, Dhruv Rathee for his comment on her beauty.
Dhruv Rathee is a popular YouTuber, who has been grabbing attention for the wrong reasons. A few days ago, Dhruv Rathee slammed Ranveer Singh's film, Dhurandhar. Later, he also shared his opinions on Deepika Padukone and Janhvi Kapoor's beauty. Well, it looks like Dhruv's accusations didn't sit well with the influencer, Orry, who publicly slammed the YouTuber.
A few days ago, Dhruv Rathee shared a video on his YouTube channel titled The Fake Beauty of Bollywood Celebrities, in which he talked about the cosmetic procedures in Bollywood. However, what grabbed the attention of the audience was its thumbnail, which featured alleged before-and-after images of actress, Janhvi Kapoor.
Within a few days, the video reached popular influencer, Orry, who didn't wait for a minute before taking a stand for his friend, Janhvi. Reportedly, Orry found one of Dhruv Rathee's Instagram reel about Janhvi Kapoor and instantly commented that the Homebound actress doesn't even know Dhruv. Orry further slammed the YouTuber and called him an "anti-nationalist". Orry's comment can be read as:
"She probably doesn’t even know who he is. I myself only know him as that anti nationalist who complains about not getting papped at train station despite having followers."
For the unversed, Dhruv Rathee had uploaded the video on December 25, 2025, and within hours, he had found himself under the storm. Fans of both Deepika and Janhvi slammed the YouTuber. Later, Dhruv took to this X (formerly Twitter) handle, to address the backlash. He stated that he has not targeted Jahnvi in the entire video and he only used her image as a thumbnail so that he gets views. His post can be read as:
"Let’s ignore the fact that it takes days to make a video like that. Let’s also ignore the fact that I myself made a video in support of Dipu Chandra Das. The funny thing is where did I even ‘attack’ Jahnvi specifically in that video? Nowhere. It's called A/B testing.. Youtube automatically selects the best performing thumbnail."
A few days ago, Dhruv Rathee had uploaded a video, in which he slammed the success of Ranveer Singh’s film, Dhurandhar. In the same, the Youtuber criticised the film’s portrayal of violence and its narrative tone. He also compared the visuals to disturbing real-world content. However, his video didn't sit well with the audience. Later, when the makers of the film didn't pay much attention, Dhruv Rathee commented on Deepika Padukone and mentioned her alleged skin-lightening treatments. But, Deepika's fans slammed Dhruv, and asked him to mind his own business.
Orry is one of the most talked-about influencers, who rose to fame with his signature pose with several Bollywood celebrities. Reportedly, Orry has worked in luxury lifestyle and fashion-related roles. The influencer is often spotted with actors such as Janhvi Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Sara Ali Khan, Nysa Devgn and Khushi Kapoor.
