The social media is filled with one of the particular clips of 'Allie Hayes' and 'Dean Di Laurentis', where they were seen dancing the night away. The chemistry and the tension were all over the roof, and the social media users, who were not even up for watching the series, ran straight to the OTT platform to witness. In the video, 'Allie Hayes' was seen wearing a recreated version of Jennifer Lopez's famous Versace Jungle Dress, which she wore back in the 2000 Grammys.
Jennifer Lopez also praised the show, writing that she loved it. Well, coming to 'Allie', several social media users, mainly Indian fans of the show, have been wondering if the role was played by Mahima Chaudhary's daughter, Ariana Chaudhary.
Several IG Reels have also mentioned that 'Allie's role was played by Ariana. However, it's not true. In Off-Campus, 'Allie Hayes' role was played by American actress Mika Abdalla. The reason the fans might have ended up confused is that Airana and Mika have kind of the same facial features, including a round face structure and bangs.
Mika Abdalla is an American actress, who has appeared in some films and TV shows, including Netflix series Project Mc² (2015-1017), Sex Appeal (2022) and Snack Shack (2024). Now that she is leading all the social media feeds for her role as 'Allie Hayes' Off-Campus, the Prime Video project can be considered as one of her breakthroughs. In her personal life, Mika is engaged to former child actor, Jack Short. The duo met on Hulu's Sex Appeal, and soon they started dating in 2021. Four years later, in 2025, the couple's manager confirmed that they were engaged.
Speaking of 'Allie Hayes', she is one of the main characters in Off-Campus, whose love story was unfolded in Elle Kennedy's book series, Off-Campus' third instalment, The Score. 'Allie' in the series was seen as an aspiring actress, who is confident enough. She was stuck in her long-term relationship but wanted to break free, and her desires could be seen in the way she advised her BFF, 'Hannah', to take risks and explore what's out there that college has to offer. All said and done, she met 'Dean Di Laurentis', a hockey star at the college.
In the book, 'Dean Di Laurentis' was leading his single life with multiple casual flings and intimacy, and his one-night stand with 'Allie' led him to want to find out something real. However, soon things changed as he fell into the spirals caused by his ex-girlfriend and the death of his best friend. He left hockey and broke up with 'Allie'. Later, he found solace in coaching, and also reconciled with 'Allie', who was hesitant at first but eventually got married to him.
