Multiple factors have contributed to the success of Obsession at the Indian box office

The success of Obsession at the Indian box office has undoubtedly left the entire film industry in shock. A few believe that the biggest reason behind the success has been the backing of a big production company and a marketing strategy that is usually followed for any other movie. The positive word-of-mouth has also helped at the same time.

Notably, the makers followed a separate format in terms of making, where they preferred to focus on storytelling and script instead of bringing a big star in the lead role, and spent a lot on promotions. The budget of the film clearly shows that the director wanted to keep audiences hooked to the big screen until the end, and the formula worked in favour of the film.

The plot of Obsession focuses on a man named 'Bear,' who is in love with a girl named 'Nikki.' 'Bear' finds a supernatural toy that can help fulfil his wish. While things go as planned, 'Nikki' starts displaying a different kind of behaviour, bringing chaos and a lot of other issues to the lives of 'Bear' and everyone else.
