Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri's upcoming action thriller film, O'Romeo, directed by Vishal Bhardwaj is all set to hit the theatres on February 13, 2026. Since a long time, the film has been generating a lot of buzz on social media as it looks like it is based on the life of Hussain Ustara. Amid the ongoing buzz, read on to know the massive salaries of the lead cast.
The action thriller, O'Romeo is said to be based on the life of Hussain Ustara. For the unversed, he was once the most dangerous ga****ers of Mumbai. Reportedly, Shahid Kapoor will be playing the role of 'Hussain Ustara', while Triptii Dimri will essay the role of 'Sapna Didi'. While details regarding the plot have been kept under wraps, viewers are expected to witness intense action scenes with a hint of emotional moments. It is worth mentioning that recently, the director of the film, Vishal Bhardwaj confirmed that the film is based on the book, Mafia Queens of Mumbai.
While the cast fees of O’Romeo has not been confirmed by the makers or actors, a recent report by Asianet News revealed an estimated amount the lead cast might have taken. According to the same report, the Kabir Singh fame, Shahid Kapoor took home a whopping amount of Rs. 45 crore. If reports are to be believed, this is the biggest paycheque Shahid has received in his career till now. For those who do not know, Shahid Kapoor will be seen in an intense and fierce character in Vishal Bhardwaj’s upcoming film.
According to a report by Asianet News, Triptii Dimri, who is rumoured to play the role of ‘Sapna Didi’ in the upcoming action thriller film, reportedly charged Rs. 6 crore for the film. If reports are to be followed, she will play the love interest of Shahid Kapoor in the film. On the other hand, Tamannaah Bhatia, who will allegedly play an important role in the action thriller, took home Rs. 7 crore. Lastly, the Baaghi 2 actress, Disha Patani received a paycheque of Rs. 2 crore. If these figures are to be followed, Tamannaah was the highest paid female lead of O’Romeo.
Apart from the main leads, the upcoming action film also stars Avinash Tiwary. For the unversed, Avinash is a popular Bollywood actor, who is known for his charming and strong screen presence. Reportedly, he will be playing the role of a villain in O’Romeo. According to Asianet News, Avinash charged Rs. 7 crore. It is worth mentioning that Avinash has worked with Triptii Dimri in the film, Laila Majnu.
Apart from him, the film also stars veteran actor, Nana Patekar. It is worth mentioning that details about Nana Patekar’s character have been kept under wraps; however, reports suggest that he will have a special yet intense role. Reportedly, Nana Patekar took home a whopping amount of Rs. 4 crore for O’Romeo. Recently, he made headlines for leaving the trailer launch of the upcoming film after waiting for more than 90 mins.
