Nita Ambani Glows In Sabyasachi Outfit And Heritage Jewellery At Akash-Shloka's Pre-Wedding Function

When a boy gets married, it is his mother who is the happiest! Her feeling cannot be expressed in words and the depth of a mother-son bond is precious. The chairperson and founder of the Reliance Foundation and non-executive director of Reliance Industries, Nita Ambani is going through the similar feelings as her eldest son, Akash Ambani is tying the knot soon with his childhood friend, Shloka Mehta. The pre-wedding celebrations of Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta began on February 18, 2019, at the Ambani residence, Antilia and singers, Falguni Pathak and Tushar Trivedi performed at the garba night. Tushar took to his Instagram handle and shared some inside glimpses from the celebrations. He wrote, “Performed Last Night for #Ambani Family with One & Only #FalguniPathak n Ta-Thaiya.”

His caption further stated, “OLD MEMORIES REVIVED: It was Great Honour for we two Brothers i.e. Rajesh Trivedi & Myself that we performed for Ambani Family for 10 Long Years from 1995 to 2005 and Executed every Event happened in the Family at various venues like Sea Wind (Ambani House), #NitaAmbani's Parents Side, Munim House (TinaAmbani's Parents House), Dhirubhai Ambani City, Goa (DiptiSalgaonkar's House), Surat-Hazira, Jamnagar, Nathdhwara n many others. Even at the #Antilia, the very First Musical Event was arranged by us on the Occasion of Family #GruhPravesh in #Nov2010 For All these, We Thank #SamirbhaiSata from the Bottom of Our Hearts. On February 20, 2019, ace Bollywood designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee posted two beautiful pictures of groom-to-be, Akash Ambani’s mother, Nita Ambani stunningly dressed up for one of his pre-wedding functions. The mother of the groom-to-be looked resplendent in a blush pink Sabyasachi ethnic wear and heritage jewellery. Sabyasachi captioned her photos as, “Nita Ambani in Sabyasachi clothing and jewellery from the Sabyasachi Heritage Jewelry collection.” Here are the two pictures:

Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal’s pre-wedding celebrations also began with a dandiya night ceremony with her grandma's blessings. Nita Ambani and Isha Ambani were twinning in traditional Gujarati outfits with mirror and threadwork, for the ceremony. Costume designer and make-up artist, Mickey Contractor shared a gorgeous picture of Nita Ambani and wrote, “Nita Ambani tonight for Isha Ambani’s wedding celebrations starting tonight with grandmas blessings and a dandiya fest. #nitaambani #ishaambani”. The make-up game was on point for Nita Ambani with those kohl-rimmed smokey eyes, glossy raspberry lips, structured brows and a subtle hint of blush on her cheeks.

In a throwback interview with a leading media portal, Nita Ambani, post-Akash and Shloka’s proposal in 2018 had shared, “I have known Shloka since she was four and we are all delighted to welcome her to our home and our hearts”. A source close to the family had revealed, “Shloka is a very charming girl, extremely cultured and it’s difficult to say which of the two families is lucky with this upcoming marriage.”

In an interview with an online portal, the soon-to-be Ambani bahu, Shloka had shared, “Despite years and busy schedules, we have always found ways to stay connected. Akash is incredibly grounded, and we share a bond based on meaning and memories. We don't just get along - we also support each other's hopes and aspirations and are determined to build a sense of purpose into our lives together.
