Reality TV star, Nikki Exotika is currently in the hospital after an emergency open-heart surgery. The reality star's condition became critical after she reportedly suffered a mild heart attack. In turn, she was rushed to the hospital for immediate treatment. According to the latest update shared by her mother, Myrna, Nikki initially went to the hospital for a triple bypass surgery. But, when she was taken into the operation theater, surgeons reportedly found more blocked surgeries complicating the situation. Let us know more about her health status.
Nikki Exotika's mother, Myrna, recently posted on Instagram, sharing details about a GoFundMe campaign started for the reality TV star. She is presently stable and recovering from a critical quadruple bypass procedure. The surgery lasted 7 hours and involved a large medical team. It all began when Nikki experienced chest pain, severe heartburn and shortness of breath. Although she visited doctors and cardiologists, they reportedly conveyed that she was normal. But, soon things took a turn, and Nikki almost collapsed during a recent performance.
When she went for another medical checkup, she allegedly suffered a mild heart attack. Nikki was immediately taken to the emergency room for an angiogram. But it reportedly showed severe artery blockages that were too extensive for less invasive procedures such as stents or angioplasty. Even after a complicated operation, Nikki reportedly struggled to breathe and was put on a ventilator before her health stabilised. Nikki's mother revealed that the reality TV star has a "long and difficult" recovery ahead.
She further mentioned that although Nikki's emergency surgery was covered by her insurance, her family had to start a GoFundMe campaign to manage her daily living expenses during her recovery. Myrna explained that she has started the crowdfunding campaign to cover Nikki's rent, bills, and other financial responsibilities until her recovery.
Nikki Exotika earlier shared that she has spent nearly a decade undergoing gender affirmation and cosmetic procedures. She admitted that it earned her online attention for her "million-dollar transformation". Eventually, her health struggles began in 2025. It was a result of the complications from a breathing reconstruction and implant-related surgery. Nikki had to face dangerous internal bleeding, major drops in blood pressure and consistent breathing issues. She also suffered from chronic bronchitis, acid reflux-related conditions and kidney stones.
In turn, some social media users mentioned that they believed Nikki's extensive beauty transformation and multiple surgeries might be the cause for her health struggles. However, there is no confirmation about it from her family. On the other hand, her fans and internet users extended their best wishes for Nikki's speedy recovery.
