And it's believed that one of the biggest reasons behind that was Victoria's 'inappropriate' dance with her son, which left Nicola in tears. Amid that, a new revelation has surfaced which claims that the only footage of the incident is owned by Brooklyn and Nicola.
It was on January 20, 2026 (ET) that Page Six confirmed that Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz own the only footage of the wedding reception. The news outlet shared that it is the same video that allegedly shows Victoria Beckham dancing "inappropriately" with her son. The news was confirmed to Page Six by two sources on Tuesday, following Brooklyn's explosive Instagram post, which accused his parents.
In the said post, Victoria and David Beckham are accused of alienating his wife and controlling "the narrative" surrounding their feud. According to the reports, the source has confirmed that footage from April 2022 nuptials also "contains footage of Victoria dancing inappropriately with Brooklyn at his wedding". While the couple does not plan to release the video, it has created an intense buzz surrounding the Beckham family row.
Additionally, according to TMZ, the moment "lasted several minutes" and left guests "unsure how to react." Insiders told the outlet that Victoria was allegedly "right up against Brooklyn" and showcasing behaviour that was "more fitting for romantic partners than a mother and son." The report further stated that Brooklyn felt "humiliated" and never wants the public to see the video. They also shared that the ultra-private event included a cell phone ban and non-disclosure agreements.
However, an exception was made for the fashion designer, who was said to have been allowed to keep her phone while other guests had theirs confiscated. According to TMZ, a source further shared that the footage is now accessible only to the bride and groom, Nicola and Brooklyn and that a contract required the videography company to sign its own NDA and "wipe all copies."
A source told Page Six that Marc Anthony, who performed at the celebration, was meant to introduce the couple as they took a specially built stage for their first dance. However, the big romantic moment that "was pre-determined specifically for Nicola and Brooklyn" changed at the last minute. The insider shared that instead of Nicola, Victoria Beckham allegedly "got up on stage and wrapped her arms around Brooklyn" and "nuzzled into his neck".
According to the guests, Victoria Beckham "was dancing with him very inappropriately." They further shared that the fashion designer and Spice Girls alum "took that moment from Nicola, that is the God's truth." They added that the bride "ran out crying." The source further alleged that while the Beckhams cheered Victoria's dance, the Peltz side had gone completely quiet. They revealed that it was "Nicola's friends [who] were saying 'You have to go back down.' Her face was swollen." Nicola was extremely upset "the entire evening" following the incident, which the guest called "heartbreaking."
