In an interview, Nia Sharma talked about her white glasshouse and the disadvantage of living in it. She also shared how it feels like magic to buy a house in Mumbai.
Ranked as the third and second in the Top 50 Sexiest Asian Women List by British-based Eastern Eye newspaper in 2016 and 2017 respectively, Nia Sharma is all about sass. She had entered the glamour world 11 years back and with time, changed the dynamics of it totally. She had made her debut with the show, Kaali- Ek Agnipariksha and got her due fame with Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai. With her web show, Twisted she had proved that she can ace any character.
It’s been 11 years of hard work for Nia Sharma and it perfectly reflects in her luxurious home. On September 13, 2021, Nia had performed the griha pravesh puja of her new home, which is made keeping white and mirror in mind. Everything about her new house is breathtakingly gorgeous, from a large mirror that doubles up as a wall to modern chandeliers or the beautiful view of Mumbai’s skyline.

In a conversation with ETimes, Nia Sharma called buying a house in Mumbai a miracle. Sharing how her new home, made her recall her struggle, Nia said, “I have moved on from my previous home because the only way to move forward is to detach yourself from the things you were holding on to. Buying a home in a city like Mumbai is a miracle in itself and moving into a new apartment felt like a dream. It brought back the memories of the years of struggle along with satisfaction and a sense of relief. Moving into a new place is more of an emotional change than a physical one.”
Nia further shared that her house gives her the feel of a glasshouse, and said, “The best thing about the house is the glass walls in every room. The decor and the interiors are white and pristine. It has a glasshouse feel, so I don’t want to overdo it with flashy interiors. I sleep and wake up to a mesmerising skyline. Watching the horizon has made me forget my old house.”

Talking about her favourite corner and the only disadvantage of her home, Nia said, “It would be my bedside glass wall. I sit on my bed and can’t stop looking outside at the beautiful city view. The only peeve is that the apartment is very breezy and your hair eventually becomes frizzy, but I can live with that!”
In an exclusive conversation with Bollywoodshaadis, Nia Sharma had talked about how she has decorated her home. She had said, “So, it’s not that it’s my first house, ghar toh tha hi, but, you can sort of call it a dream and you know you wanna build your next house so there is glass everywhere, everywhere you look around is just glass. There is the sky view, then you can see the horizon, and most of the times, I am just looking out of my window. So, ever since, I have moved into this house, my idea was to keep it very very minimalistically white and lot of lights in the house.”
