After Expensive Cars, Neha Marda's 'Saasu Maa' Gifts Her 'Bahu' Ancestral Gold Jewellery And Saree

Not everyone is lucky to get an understanding mother-in-law along with an understanding partner. And if you get one, feel blessed to have an affectionate and a caring mother-in-law. There is one pretty actress from the telly land who has been lucky is none other than, Neha Marda. She's not just lucky but blessed to have such an understanding parent. Read further to know why. 

Played the role of Gehna in Colours TV's Balika Vadhu, the actress has not just been lucky once with the love showered by her mother-in-law but many times. Recently, on the occasion of Shivratri, like the perfect caring mother-in-law, she gifted her bahurani pretty and priceless ancestral gold jewellery along with lovely Benarasi saree. Neha herself shared the pictures on her official Instagram handle thanking her mom with the caption which said, “Happy Maha Shivratri. Thank you mommy for gifting such priceless ancestral Jewellery and this lovely Benarasi red saree. Love u lots.” And here are the pictures:

For those of you who do not know, she married a Patna-based businessman, Ayushman Aggarwal in 2012 and since then, the actress is more pampered by her mother-in-law than her husband. The first time when Neha was pampered by her mom-in-law was when they celebrated their first anniversary and saasu maa gifted them a swanky new BMW. While we all thought, as it was the first one, such a gift is restricted the to first anniversary; but their second and third anniversaries gift was no less (Read More). The doting saasu maa gifted her beloved bahurani with Audi and Jaguar, on their second and third anniversaries, respectively.

It's not restricted to gifting between this bahu-saas bond but even more. Recently, when Neha's sister got married, her mother-in-law once again did something different, unlike other mother-in-laws. She shared her wardrobe with her bahu and Neha was seen wearing her mother-in-law’s 15-year-old Baluchari saree from Bengal. Her doting mom-in-law shared her exquisite collection with her daughter-in-law to not just make her feel special but beautiful too. Neha’s saasu maa proves to be a lady with a practical and modern thinking. Even when Neha took a 2-year sabbatical post her wedding; it was her mom-in-law who pushed her to pursue her career back. She once stated that her mother-in-law wants her to be independent. And her belief is that getting married and being a housewife is not the be-all and end-all of a woman’s life but in fact, you must do something creative.
