Neeti Mohan revealed why her mom broke the stereotype and did her kanyadan on her wedding day.
Neeti Mohan lives in our hearts rent-free for her soulful voice and chartbuster songs like Ishq Wala Love, Naino Wale Ne, Tu Hi Tu etc. The singer is a proud mommy to a one-year-old baby boy, Aryaveer Pandya. Since the arrival of the little munchkin, we get to see cutesy snippets of the mother-son duo on the former’s IG handle.
Recently, Neeti recalled a heartwarming story from her wedding day on the stage of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil’ Champs. Neeti’s marriage with Nihaar Pandya on February 15, 2019, was a dreamy affair. However, her father was severely ill on that day. Hence, Neeti’s mother took charge and did the kanyadaan, breaking the age-old tradition. Talking about the same, she said:
"I just want to say today that if every father becomes this supportive, and all the mothers are strong like my mom in tough times, who took a strong decision of doing my kanyadaan by herself because my dad was not keeping well, it would be amazing."

In the show, while listening to one of the contestant's performances, Neeti got emotional. As tears rolled down her cheeks, she recalled her parents and gave the credit of her success to her parents. She stated:
''Mere liye ye dono mere Bhagwan hai, and wherever I am today or will achieve in my life, Iowe it to them."
On Janmashtami 2022, Neeti had dropped a cutesy picture on her IG handle with her natkhat kanha, Aryaveer. While the singer mommy looked beautiful in a neon churidaar, her son was dressed in a blue denim co-ord. Neeti was seen teaching Aryaveer to make the namaste gesture and for praying.

Earlier, on February 16, 2022, Neeti and Nihaar celebrated their first anniversary. On the special day, the singer posted the perfect family picture of the Pandya family on her Instagram feed. In the portrait, the couple smothered their baby boy with kisses. However, Aryaveer’s clueless face won our hearts in split second.
