After a lot of speculations and rumours surrounding their wedding, Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal had finally taken their wedding vows on January 24, 2021 at Alibaug. After waiting for the whole day to get a glimpse of them, paps went crazy when Varun and Natasha stepped out to greet them officially as husband and wife. Varun had taken to his IG handle and had shared the first pictures from his wedding with Natasha and they had looked nothing less than a match-made-in-heaven. He had captioned the pictures as “Life long love just became official."
Apart from their intimate wedding, Varun and Natasha’s wedding looks have become the talk of the town. The lovely couple had ditched all the conventional colours and had looked stunning in their ivory-coloured outfits. The star wife, who is a designer herself, donned an ivory-coloured lehenga with matching diamond jewellery. She completed her look with subtle makeup and semi tied hair with flowers. Varun twinned with his bride and opted for an ivory-coloured sherwani with a silver-blue stole. But what caught our attention was Natasha’s white chooda, which was similar to the one opted by Telugu superstar, Rana Daggubati’s wife, Miheeka Bajaj.
Miheeka Bajaj, who had tied the knot with Rana Daggubati in August 2020, had opted for an offbeat Anamika Khanna lehenga, which was a hand done zardosi with the finest form of chikankari and gold metalwork paired with a woven gold dupatta. Miheeka’s layered jewellery was all about perfection but her white chooda had stolen the limelight. Miheeka had made for a classy and royal bride, beautifully carrying off two dupattas with her bridal ensemble. On Kareena Kapoor Khan's talk show, What Women Want, Varun Dhawan had revealed that he had met Natasha for the first time when they were in the sixth standard. Varun had then cleared that they weren't dating back then and were just close friends till the eleventh or twelfth grade. Reminiscing about the time when he had realised that he had fallen for Natasha, Varun had said that she was in the yellow house and he was in the red house, and it was on the basketball court. In the lunch break, he saw her walking, and it was that moment for him that he had realised he was in love with her. Varun had then revealed that Natasha had rejected his proposal multiple times, but he had not given up on her.
When Varun Dhawan had appeared on Karan Johar’s chat show, Koffee With Karan, he was all praises for his ladylove. In an unseen Koffee confession episode, Varun had spoken about how Natasha has always supported his dreams and it was his responsibility to support her dreams and ambitions. Talking about the same, he had said, “As far as me and Natasha are concerned, eventually after we get married and we are together and all that stuff… she has her own individuality and that is why I am with her. She has her own voice, which is super strong with things she wants to do and achieve in life and as her partner, that is something I want to support. She has been very supportive of my career since day one. I have known her since school. We were friends then. Since day one she has been supportive of my dreams. It has to be the same. From my side, I have to be supportive of her dreams.
