The spacesuits will be worn by the NASA astronauts for their future space missions. It has generated global interest with one question being in the mind. It is interesting to note that at the moment, neither NASA, Axiom Space, nor Prada has revealed the exact details related to the costing of the astronaut garment. However, according to reports dated back to 2023, when Prada had thought of teaming up with Axiom Space, every suit cost a whopping amount. For the unversed, Prada had plans to team up with Axiom Space to create lunar suits for NASA's future Artemis missions. Well, according to reports, each suit had cost USD 100,000 to make and was roughly around USD 840,000. Italian fashion house, Prada has teamed up with Axiom Space to introduce high-tech space garments for NASA astronauts. This has been in relation to their future lunar missions and has been one of the most unusual collaborations. Axion Space had taken to X to reveal that the new space outfit has the Liquid Cooling and Ventilation Garment (LCVG). These are essential components which are worn by the astronaut beneath the spacesuit. The tweet read:

"Axiom Space has teamed up again with @Prada to introduce the Liquid Cooling and Ventilation Garment (LCVG), the innermost layer within the #AxEMU spacesuit that is designed to protect astronauts from the elements when they explore the lunar surface for the first time in more than 50 years. The LCVG collaboration draws on Prada's expertise in engineered knitting and innovative design concepts, resulting in a next-generation garment that maintains cooling and ventilation while enhancing comfort during up to eight-hour spacewalks."

In the tweet, Axiom Space also mentioned that collaborating with industry pioneers like Prada allowed them to combine their technical expertise with leaders across different sectors. This has helped in fostering innovation and teamwork to deliver advanced technologies that will return America to the Moon.
