Now, she shared a series of photos and revealed how she has been trying to make it normal for her two-year-old daughter. Nara is not just putting on a brave face but also making sure to give other parents hope and assurance that they are not alone.
This week, Nara Smith revealed that her daughter was diagnosed with cancer late last year. While she has been doing her best, it is not easy managing her other children and work. Now, on July 4, 2026, Nara shared glimpses of her baby girl on Instagram and showed off her bald head without revealing her face. Her head was covered with crystal body stickers. She also showed a glimpse of her daughter's shaved hair and a book she has been reading to her, which is about Princess Lily and The Hair Fairy.
Along with it, Nara penned a note and revealed how she was sharing something vulnerable, which is not at all an easy decision. But every message, prayer and story she got has made it easy. She wrote:
"Little warrior girl, sharing something this vulnerable wasn’t an easy decision, but seeing every message, prayer, story of a similar experience, and kindness has made it a little easier. To every family or parent walking through something heavy right now, we’re thinking of you too."
As soon as she shared the photos, fans and well-wishers showered her with courage. One user wrote, "Whimsy has got this! Sending you all the love babe! You got this." Another one commented, "Sending you all the love, strength and prayers for a swift recovery."
A third user penned, "Praying for you all, especially your beautiful little one. God‘s got you. Praying faith and strength, lifting you up in Jesus name. Believing for miraculous healing, and powerful testimony." On July 1, 2026, Nara revealed the reason she was posting less was due to her two-year-old daughter being diagnosed with cancer.
The 24-year-old Nara shared in an Instagram Reel that her two-year-old daughter, Whimsy Lou, was diagnosed with cancer. It was a heart-wrenching moment for the mother, yet she acted calm while sharing details of her daughter's illness. She revealed that they found out about her health late last year. However, the influencer didn't share what kind of cancer Whimsy was diagnosed with or her condition.
Nara added that when she saw something suspicious on her, they took her to a paediatrician, and the doctor went quiet. She revealed that her heart dropped, and she had a gut feeling, or it was a mom's intuition, that told her it was cancer. She said:
"When we saw something suspicious on her, we took her to the ER and they didn't quite know what to make of it. When we took her into our pediatrician, I just remember him going really quiet and calm ... My heart dropped in that moment. I don't know whether it was my gut telling me something or just a mom's intuition, but the first thing that I felt was she has cancer."
When they took their daughter to the children's hospital, they found out the news. She revealed that it was after a lof ot x-rays, ultrasounds and later a biopsy, which revealed that their daughter had cancer. The doctors told them that it had spread and that she needed to start the treatment immediately.
