A user on social media revealed that Nancy Guthrie's kidnapper is a female who used makeup to look like a man. The discussion gained a lot of traction.
Speculation about the disappearance of Savannah Guthrie's mother, Nancy, does not seem to end. Now, a fresh new theory has drawn widespread speculation on X. The theory is explosive as it says that Nancy's kidnapper is actually a lady. The masked suspect was seen outside Nancy's house in Arizona. The discussion gained a lot of traction after a user on X referred to the comments made by FBI agent, Maureen O’Connell. This was during her appearance on The Interview Room.
FBI agent, Maureen O’Connell's sister earlier revealed that the unidentified suspect could actually be a female. A user on X called Shana Lee revealed that many agreed with FBI Agent Maureen O’Connell, revealing details of the kidnapper being a female. The user shared that some say the suspect has feminine features or may even be wearing makeup. Others theorise the perp is wearing a second mask beneath the stocking cap.
Well, the user in the tweet then wrote about looking for feminine masks like this, which are easily purchased online and could potentially fit beneath a stocking cap. The Twitterati shared an image of the masked kidnapper and said how prosthetics could fit beneath a stocking cap. You could cut the lips out, paint on a moustache, or even glue on prosthetic makeup.
A user was convinced that Nancy's kidnapper is a female and said, "The mask thing has really been on my mind the past few weeks, especially since I’ve seen how they look realistic when people put them on. Just another thought/possibility I keep in mind. I have notes all over the place! Trying an organisational system! Lol. They really went to extremes not to be identified. Did Nancy know her abductor?" Another user wrote:
"Guess it's a possibility he is wearing a mask with female features, which would explain - in my opinion - why the gait and body look more like a male, but the eyes in the photo where he is looking straight into the camera look a little more feminine, and looks like eye liner."
Speaking about Nancy, a user said, "I never thought he was wearing a second mask. I guess I didn’t realise people did that. That would explain why Nancy was so close to the ground when the blood splatter at the front door. If a guy, she would not have been so close to the ground." Another one said that the eyebrows of the kidnapper look painted and said:
"Newbie here…at this point anything is possible. The eyebrows do look partially “painted” on on the suspect, however, what happened to the tail end of said eyebrows?? Also take a closer look at the lashes, they seem to be clumped up on his right eye. I had that thought. There's something with the eyebrows, they looked trimmed to me, unless the mask is just covering them. Also the eyes, eyelashes. If not a woman, it could be a man that likes wearing makeup."
Users on X were adamant in opining the fact that Nancy's kidnapper had female-like features, as seen in the FBI's surveillance clips. Users have been discussing the kidnapper having fake eyebrows and lashes beneath the stocking cap. The user who posted the version of the theory shared snaps of realistic silicone masks and argued that they could easily be worn under a headcap or winter wear.
There were many who were not convinced by the theory, as a user even said, "I'm for sure not convinced. Most people reflect on the eyebrows. Those are not eyebrows. It's a shadow from the cap. The light is not all the way in his mouth. It's a stick light. You see it when he is staring into the door. He has it on the right side of his mouth."
