'Love Story' actor, Naga Chaitanya and his family hosted a dinner for Bollywood's superstar, Aamir Khan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu's absence from the same adds fuel to the ongoing divorce rumours.
South Indian actor, Naga Chaitanya is riding high on the professional front as his much-awaited film, Love Story, opposite popular actress, Sai Pallavi has been released in theatres. The film has already received an impressive reaction from the audience and critics. Naga Chaitanya is all set to make his acting debut in Bollywood with one of the highly-anticipated films of the year, Laal Singh Chaddha. In the film, he will be sharing the screen space with Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and many other big names of Bollywood.
Recently, Aamir Khan had visited Hyderabad especially to support his Laal Singh Chaddha co-star, Naga Chaitanya, during the promotions of his film, Love Story. After the promotional event, Naga and his family hosted a dinner for the Dangal actor, and a picture from the same is doing rounds on the internet. However, what caught everyone's attention was Naga's wife, Samantha Ruth Prabhu's absence from the special family dinner.

In the picture from their family dinner, we can spot Chaitanya's father, Nagarjuna, brother, Akhil Akkineni, and his Love Story co-star, Sai Pallavi. However, the picture has raised many eyebrows because of Samantha's absence from the close-knit dinner. Samantha's absence from the dinner party has also added fuel to the ongoing speculations on Naga and Samantha's separation reports.

According to a report in ETimes, the possible reason behind Samantha Ruth Prabhu and her husband, Naga Chaitanya's possible rift and the emergence of divorce rumours is the fact that The Family Man 2 actress is still working in the world of glitz and glam. The report had suggested that Samantha's glamourous photoshoots and portraying bold roles in her movies are some of the prime reasons behind the rift between Samantha and Naga's family. Also, it seemed like Naga's father and iconic actor, Nagarjuna, reportedly wanted his daughter-in-law, Samantha, to quit acting after marriage.
For the unversed, the speculations about severe differences in Samantha and Naga's 3.5 years of marriage had kick-started after she had dropped her surname 'Akkineni' on her IG and Twitter handle. The actress had changed her name to simply 'S' and had made everyone wonder if things were going downhill between her and her husband, Naga Chaitanya.
