Mahima Makwana, who is seen playing the role of Vikrant Massey a.k.a 'Chander's' present girlfriend, 'Preeti', in the Netflix series, Musafir Cafe, has won hearts with their chemistry. However, the factor in their relationship that stole the spotlight is their significant age gap. According to a report by Times Now, Mahima Makwana is 27, and Vikrant Massey is 39. If the report is believed to be true, then the pair shares an age gap of 12 years.
In a recent interview with Zoom, Mahima reacted to the age gap between her and her co-star Vikrant Massey. According to her, their age gap is not that huge. Mahima shared that age never matters for her. Mahima said:
"For me, it was an instant connection. We don’t even have a huge gap. It does not matter. In fact, age never matters. Some people are 40 and have still not matured, and some are very emotionally intelligent at 25."
Mahima explained that age is just a number for her. She mentioned that it is all about maturity and experience. She was quoted as saying:
"It is about the maturity and experience and the intent that you come with. Ultimately, we are all professionals. I have been working for 15 years, he has been in the industry for more than 16 years. As long as we do our jobs well, nothing else matters. Preeti and Chander look lovely together and so does their partnership. Age is just a number."
According to reports, Vikrant was born on April 13, 1987 and his wife, Sheetal, was born on November 13, 1991. As of 2025, Vikrant was 38, and Sheetal was 34. This means the couple shares a 4-year age gap. The duo began dating in 2015 after working together on Ekta Kapoor’s series, Broken But Beautiful. After seven years of dating, Vikrant and Sheetal got married in 2022. Later, in 2024, the two welcomed their son, Vardaan.
But did you know that Vikrant was trolled on social media for sharing that he touches his wife’s feet? Yes, you read it right. Back in November 2024, the Musafir Cafe actor shared snaps of himself touching his wife, Sheetal's feet on the occasion of Karwa Chauth. Later, in an interview with Lallantop, Vikrant shared that Sheetal is the 'Lakshmi' of his house. In his words:
"People made those photos viral. She is the Lakshmi of my home, and I don’t think it’s wrong to touch Lakshmi’s feet. I proudly say that she came into my life 10 years ago and changed it for the better. Ever since she entered my life, only good things have happened, and to keep it that way, I continue to touch her feet."
