Morgan Wallen has been busy with Still the Problem tour since April 2026. However, the ongoing event is creating headlines for certain reasons, including the singer’s behaviour on certain occasions. Notably, a new video of Wallen is now trending. It shows him snatching a phone from the hand of a security guard and throwing it away.

The cellphone incident happened on June 5, 2026, at the Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh. Morgan Wallen was also supposed to perform at the same place on June 6, 2026. However, the show was cancelled due to weather problems. The moment when Morgan threw the security guard’s phone, it was recorded by another individual on camera.
According to Page Six, Morgan was performing on stage when the security guard started recording him. Notably, Wallen made a gesture towards the phone and moved away for some time. Morgan suddenly returned to the same spot and snatched the phone from the security guard. He then threw it across the stage. As of this writing, Morgan Wallen has not shared any response to the incident.
The video first went viral on TikTok. However, an individual claimed on the platform that the security guard was not the owner of the phone. The TikTok user said that the phone was handed over to the security guard by someone else to record Wallen.
As mentioned, Morgan Wallen’s performance grabbed attention in May 2026 due to another incident on stage. The video of the same was posted on TikTok, where Morgan became frustrated due to an instrument malfunction. Morgan was performing his song, Sand In My Boots, at that time. Morgan pushed a piano on stage after the malfunction, and a few moments later, he broke the instrument by turning it over.
While multiple videos of the incident went viral on social media, Morgan Wallen responded to the same on June 1, 2026. He shared a TikTok video, which was seemingly recorded a day after his show. Morgan also told his fans in the video:
“Hey, I just want you guys to know that right now this piano is working. That’s what they told me last night.”
Apart from this, Morgan Wallen cancelled another show scheduled on June 6, 2026, at the Acrisure Stadium. Morgan said on Instagram that he is cancelling the show due to severe adverse weather conditions, adding that safety comes first for the crew and his fans. Wallen stated that people can get their refunds from the place where they purchased the tickets. While the decision received criticism, Morgan shared another post, saying that the “large stage” could have created problems for those standing around it. He further stated:
“My team walked on my bus, they told me they had been consulting local officials and that I should cancel my show in Pittsburgh tonight. And I said, ‘Why?’ They said that there were going to be strong winds in the area. And I said, ‘Okay.’ That was the information I had at the moment.”
